opened the gate at 1.30pm for collection today . all completely diff to web site details .

loads of them there yesterday causing mayhem. but locking the gate at 2pm confused me also. as per their website hours 9-11 ect. they didn't even close the 1 open window for lunch

hi everyone to give you all an update at savannakhet consulate. picked passport up today with multiple entry non o based on marrige. no financials req just documents as in other post. word of warning had to queue for 6hrs yesterday to submit docs ( not pleasant at all) however got what I wanted so not a prop. Also not sure what days they take documents for visas as submitted mine on monday and picked up today at 2pm. I got there at 12 to avoid the queues. however there was nobody there submitting docs and consulate locked unlike yesterday at this time still a massive queue. thanks everyone for your replies

hi all need some advice I need to return to thailand a.s.a.p. iam legiable for non o based on marrige. however I don't have time to apply for a visa in u.k. my question is can i enter visa exempt ( ie 30 day stamp) and then get 3 month extension based on marrige whilst in thailan( I don't req the 1 year ) thanks for any replies

Hi fella similar happened to me a few years back (ran over by drunk thai) My advice if poss get the hell back to the UK to get sorted. Thai Drs really really messed me up , UK Drs shocked and horrified what the butchers in Thailand did 6 years ago and 14 operations later (10 in uk) I may still loose my leg down to those idiots. I thought also req international driving permit. With is easily obtained in uk

Props is most UK insurances only cover if you have UK license (even having a Thai 1 doesn't cut it with UK insurance,I ask several companies) a lot do not haves licences for motorbike and as stated in original post UK licence does not cover you under Thai law

if you look after the bacteria in the tank . you shouldn't have to empty a septic tank. font use chemicals to clean toilets , good idea to clean then ( toilets) is to put coke down then leave over night, helps the bacteria grow. also add more bacteria every few months. good tip to give the new packets a good start before you flush em down the loo is to put em in a bucket of water with a few bits of chicken, leave in a dark place for 24hrs then flush
