Indian Tourist in Pattaya Chased by Naked Ladyboys Over Payment Dispute
Do ladyboys still look like ladyboys once they're naked?

Bangkok Bank ATM card renewal
Just a heads-up: Bangkok Bank debit cards usually do not display the cardholder’s name. When used for online payments, this led to my reservation being cancelled after Agoda asked for a photo of my card, even though the payment had already been debited. However, it is possible to request a debit card with the cardholder’s name printed on it.

Visa Exempt 60 days to 30 days? Why?
Applying for the extension requires spending half a day at Chaengwattana. I enter Thailand with a return ticket. Is it reasonable, in this situation, to rely on the extension being granted?

Thailand Eyes 30-Day Limit on Visa-Free Stay for Security Reasons
Due to other changes at Chaeengwattana on Non-O extension for older than 50 yo, I already planned to stay 2 months per year in Thailand instead of 6 months per year when my current extension ex̌pires If visa exempt is reduced to 30 days, I will most probably reduce my stays to 30 or zero day per year, as I will not waste a day at Chaeengwattana to get a 30 days extension.

Living on border runs: can a mother of Thai children get a Non-O
With respect, this is not entirely accurate, and this is exactly why firsthand experience matters. Thai Immigration does grant extensions of stay under the Non-Immigrant O category based on being the parent of a minor Thai child. In practice, this is treated differently from other foreigners without Thai family ties. ✔️ This is not a tourist or “visiting” situation. ✔️ It is a legal basis to live in Thailand as long as the child is a minor. ✔️ Marriage to the Thai father is not required in this specific case. While Immigration may ask to see means of support, there is no fixed high minimum income requirement comparable to a marriage-based or retirement extension. This is why lawyers, visa agents, and immigration officers commonly refer to it as: “Extension of stay based on being the parent of a Thai child.” Unfortunately, the official Immigration website is silent or unclear on this specific scenario, which leads to a lot of confusion online. That is precisely why I mentioned that firsthand experience would be appreciated, rather than assumptions based on other visa categories.

Living on border runs: can a mother of Thai children get a Non-O
I was said it is not required for a mother of thai children Because they need a lot of paperwork from Laos and they say it is very expensive due to corruption

Living on border runs: can a mother of Thai children get a Non-O
The sister of a Laotian friend is living in a long-term relationship with a Thai man, with whom she has two children aged 7 and 13. Her situation is precarious because she has to rely on regular border runs and, as a result, she cannot obtain health insurance in Thailand. I have been told that it may be possible to obtain a Non-Immigrant O visa as the mother of Thai children. Is this correct, and if so, what are the requirements and procedures? Any clarification or firsthand experience would be appreciated. Thanks

Visa Rules Getting Stricter? Lease + Bank Transfers Now Asked
I will produce a lease which my host sent me via LINE. I have a very good contact with him. I am not sure another host would provide it. I will produce it after Chaengwattana lunch break along with the ID of the owner which they asked too. I hope they will accept it. I will not use the income method nor deposit 800 000 bahts on my bank account. I will just reduce my stay here from 6 months to 1 month or 2

Visa Rules Getting Stricter? Lease + Bank Transfers Now Asked
Today, for the first time, I experienced serious difficulties when trying to renew my visa extension. Until now, an Airbnb receipt was sufficient to prove my accommodation, together with the TM30. However, today the immigration officer required a lease agreement covering the entire duration of my stay. As a result, my application could not be processed. This makes me wonder how people who move frequently within Thailand or change residences regularly will manage in the future. Many Airbnb hosts may not be willing (or even able) to issue a formal lease agreement. Because of this requirement, my appointment was cancelled and I had to take a new queue number and wait again, just to gain time to obtain such a document. Secondly, regarding financial requirements: up to now, a certificate of income certified by my (French) embassy was sufficient. I was informed that starting next year, I would need to provide proof of monthly transfers into a Thai bank account, but it was not clearly stated whether this would replace the embassy income letter or be required in addition to it. It is also unclear whether these transfers would be required for the entire year, including the months when I am not physically in Thailand. For me personally, making monthly transfers is not an option. If this becomes a strict requirement, I will seriously have to consider alternatives such as doing border runs or drastically reducing the amount of time I spend in Thailand. More generally, Thailand increasingly feels like a country where foreigners are welcome mainly as tourists who spend money, but are treated with growing suspicion and administrative hostility once they try to stay long-term, even though we do not compete for local jobs. I am sharing this here to see whether others have been told the same thing, and how people are planning to deal with these changes.

I Have Two Passports and Have a Question re: 90 Day Reporting
Getting a Non-O visa with a European passport may be better if issued by a country whose embassy can deliver a revenue statement. In that case no need to keep 800 000 bahts in a thai bank

Appointment at Chaeengwattana
That's why I want to make an appointment, in fact 3. Up to now I always got 3 in the morning. I buy a rentry permit after getting an extension. I did the three last January like every year First extension Second reentry Third TM47 Only for the first extension after getting a non O visa, TM47 was not needed

Appointment at Chaeengwattana
Hello, Usually, bookings open one month in advance, but on the Thai Immigration website it seems to be blocked on January 2nd, and therefore no appointments are available. Is there any reason for this?

Month to Month Condo Rental
Not sure immigration checks if the address registered with the bank is the same as the actual one. They never asked for pictures, only to draw a map of the area where I stay. They never asked for photos. DrJack54 probably has the answer https://aseannow.com/profile/281257-drjack54/
