Talking about alcohol, who is the smart, intelligent politician who decided that in Thailand there are specific hours when one can or cannot buy alcohol? Example: 11 am till to 2 pm one can buy alcohol, 2 pm to 5 pm one cannot, 5 pm to .....one can buy alcohol. There has been a lot of researches and headache to make it a Law!

Two years ago back in Oz, my last buy of wine was at Aldi Store, I paid $10.00 for a 4 litre cask of Cabernet Merlot, 12%. To buy a similar wine in Thailand would be 350 baht for .750ml bottle. Now, in my book we are not talking about a luxury product. It's just table wine. By the way, $10.00 is 250 baht for 4 litre of wine!! Someone is collecting a lot of money somewhere!?

Do Thai Authorities realize the speed of the Internet and how many people, world wide, can have access to it. When you tell farangs they cannot drink alcohol or play the pool, or pay a big fine and even risk jail, in my humble opinion this is not a good way to attract tourists!

The French were smart, they sent enough vaccine to cover the whole French expats, without having to deal with the Thai government, if you know what I mean.

Let's not blame ourselves, we contribute to the Thai economy, therefore we have a clean conscience. On the other hand this government has been cheating us and is not being being prosecuted.

Instead of worrying what people are doing in the streets, why not try to be a responsible "elected" government which main responsibility is to look after the people who trusted Mr Prayut to take care of them. But it's not happening, too may LIES!
