  1. thank you for all answers..

looks like i totally understand this proof of income wrong. I thought only persons get this letter from the embassy (german) when they get some pension, or retirement money. So money which comes from the government. In my case the money comes from privat savings which i transfer from my oversea bank to my kasikorn account. My idea was i get a set of bank statements from the last 12 month from kasikorn bank, so immigration can see the frequent monthly deposits come from outside thailand.

I will check then with the german embassy. Anyone some experinece with applying for this letter at the german embassy in Bangkok?

  2. Hello,

i stay now in thailand for 20 month. In a few month i become 50th and i will apply for a retirement visa and need some information about the proof of income.

    So my questions now are

The last 15 month i transfered every month from an account outside thailand some money to my bank account at Kasikorn Bank.

    - I read monthly income must be 65.000 THB every month for the last 12 month, so one time in the last 15th month it was under this amount (42.000) THB, but the other months it was around 100.000 THB.

      Will this be a problem?

    - Lets say i apply at 15th of january 2019 for my retirement visa. Then i need to show proof of income for the last 12 month. That means from january 2018 to december 2018, is that right?

    - Like i wrote, i transfer always to the same bank, Kasikorn, but i never update my bankbook, nor i print out my bank statements regulary. So can i just walk in to kasikorn bank

and they print me out my last 12 months of statements, where it is marked that the deposits come from oversea. Will the immigration accept this?

    - any other things i have to be aware of?

    Thank you for support....
