Also a rear tire causing you to lose control.  Have been in the same situation(sort of) - the bolts sheared off, rear righthand tire passed me on the road.  A competent driver should still be able to control the car if a rear wheel/tire is lost.  I wonder what speed he was going?

If a driver loses control from a rear tyre they shouldn't be behind the wheel.

And then, if Trump is again rejected by the popular vote (defeated by 3 million in 2016, 7 million in 2020 and, hopefully 10 million+ in 2024) supported by the an Electoral College vote, expect the court actions.

Boo Hoo the election was stolen

In the early hours of September 7th, chaos unfolded in the heart of Bangkok when a man in his 40s to 50s, allegedly high on drugs, stole a tractor (locally known as an “e-taek”) and led a wild pursuit through the city. The incident, which began near the Makkasan railway site, ended tragically after the suspect was apprehended and beaten by an angry mob.

The drama started around 00:40, when Pol. L/Cpl. Prommin Ritchaisong, a patrol officer from Pathumwan Police Station, was off duty and heading back to his residence in Makkasan. As he passed the Siam Hotel on Phetchaburi Road, he encountered a group of local residents chasing an erratically driving tractor. The residents informed him that the suspect had stolen the vehicle from a construction site and was driving dangerously under the influence of drugs.

Without hesitation, Prommin joined the pursuit on his motorcycle, attempting to signal the man to stop. Despite his warnings, the suspect sped up, weaving dangerously across the road. The pursuit intensified as they neared the Saen Saeb canal bridge, where Prommin, seeing an opportunity, fired two shots at the tractor's rear tire, causing it to lose control.

Even with a blown tire, the suspect continued driving recklessly, standing and dancing erratically on the vehicle as he drove. A crowd of more than 10 locals, both in cars and on motorcycles, followed closely behind.

The chase continued to Khlong Tan intersection, where the tractor lost further control, veering onto the median near the Airport Rail Link station on Ramkhamhaeng Road. Despite the vehicle's damage, the man attempted to flee on foot, running in the opposite direction of traffic. He was soon caught by a furious group of locals, who surrounded him and severely beat him.

Pol. L/Cpl. Prommin arrived moments later, handcuffing the unconscious man and calling for medical assistance. The suspect was rushed to Panya Hospital, but doctors later pronounced him dead at 01:35 due to severe injuries from the mob beating. A search of the tractor revealed nine methamphetamine pills and a small amount of crystal meth, but no identification documents were found.

Authorities have yet to identify the deceased, as no family members have come forward, and no one has claimed ownership of the stolen tractor. Lt. Damrongsak Jaisawang, the deputy investigation officer from Hua Mak Police Station, confirmed that the body has been sent to the Police General Hospital for a detailed autopsy.

The incident has raised concerns over mob justice, with the police now focusing on identifying the individuals involved in the beating. CCTV footage will be reviewed to track down the participants.

Pattaya Tourist Police apprehended two Indian tourists on their first day in Thailand for allegedly stealing a camera battery and then strolling along Walking Street.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Piyapong Ensan, Chief of Pattaya Tourist Police, along with other officers, arrested yesterday, September 5, at 5.16am two Indian nationals, identified as 29 year old Abhishek and 28 year old Akash (surnames withheld).

The arrest came after a complaint by 34 year old Shaik, also from India, at the Pattaya Police Station. Shaik reported that his camera battery pack had been stolen at a cannabis shop located on Walking Street.

Shaik entered the cannabis shop and placed his camera’s battery pack on a sofa while browsing products. Three fellow Indian tourists then entered the shop.

The suspects noticed the battery on the sofa, with one reportedly sitting on the item to cover it while the other discreetly slipped the battery into his bag. The suspects then left the shop and continued to stroll along Walking Street as if nothing had happened.

Pattaya Tourist Police, stationed on Walking Street, were informed of the alleged theft by the Pattaya Police Station and swiftly reviewed CCTV footage from the shop and along the suspects’ escape route. They soon discovered that the thieves had not fled but were walking leisurely not far from the incident scene.

Upon realising they were about to be arrested, the suspects attempted to return the stolen battery, claiming it had been dropped and they were intending to return it. However, the officers remained unconvinced. The suspects were taken to the Tourist Police Station, where, after being confronted with clear CCTV evidence, they reportedly confessed to the crime.

Both suspects, who had only arrived in Thailand a day earlier, were taken into custody along with the stolen camera battery, valued at around 5,000 baht. They were then handed over to the Pattaya Police Station for further legal proceedings, reported Pattaya News.

Some of blame lies with the idiot who leaves his bag unattended in a shop. He lucky he never had a nice lot of buds in there. Then he would have been devastated.

Still send the thieving tossers back home

I met my Thai fiancé on a dating site around 19 months ago. We started chatting all day every day and things got pretty serious. We are now engaged and will get married after we meet in person for the first time, I am planning to visit Bangkok in November and tie the knot.

My fiancé is a nurse and works at a major hospital in Bangkok (which I will not name for obvious reasons). Around 6 months into our relationship she started working part time at a bar in Pattaya.

On the weekends she will go down to Pattaya to work in the bar and then return back to the hospital on Monday morning. She is doing this, working 7 days a week, to help pay off her student loans.

As I have never visited Thailand before, I started to read about Thai culture online to prepare myself. I found many posts online (for example this) which say that bar girls are 'working' and not really relationship material. But I feel like my fiancé is different as even one of the senior doctors at her hospital is involved in running the bar that she works at.

I confronted my fiancé and she assured me that she only earns money from tips and drinks in the bar. Two weeks ago a Canadian guy asked to take her out of the bar. She refused him and said that she felt scared and embarrassed by it.

Basically my question is this: Is it true that all bar girls are 'working' and going to customer's hotel rooms (even women that work there part time)? Or is she is really telling the truth here and should be trusted? Is the information posted online true or is it false? She has never asked me for money before but she did say that in November I will need to pay the hospital for her to have time off work as she already used her annual leave when her brother was sick.

I am also looking for advice about where to stay in Pattaya? Where is a reasonably priced hotel and what is the best place on the island to stay?

    Thanks in advance.

Plus side is while she is making good money in the bar, she not asking you for money.

Many if us here have good happy relationships.  Some have married bar girls and prostitutes and are happy.

    Everybody to their own.

My wife worked many years at Home Pro so was easy for me to see her background. First time I met her I asked if she could show me where she worked. She took me to both stores she worked in previous 5 years.

I was amazed by how much respect from staff and management was shown.

Maybe you could do same before partingj with you money.

Staff at hospital and bar, and her customers.

    Good luck

I am betting the nagging marrieds were in the same age bracket. Not much point to that, both are equally vulnerable.

My GF is 23 years younger than me.

I asked her once what she would do, if I started going poopy in my trousers. Her response was " No problem. I can do".

Won't be problem, she will have in diaper.

I am hoping he keeps deluding himself. I he ever accepts reality, I fear a complete mental breakdown. Please not before we vote in November. Then maybe he will at last find a way out of the 90+ indictments ... incompetent to stand trial.

Do they have good phycologists in Venezuela? 😀
