New baby, new country living with in laws all be hard for her.
Go out your way find some Thai friends for her if like Australia be hundreds men with Thai wives close to you.
My wife was lonely a first in Australia, then I met a guy in supermarket who was shopping with an Asian wife. I asked him was she Thai and she was. We exchanged phone numbers next day after a phone call my wife had a friend.
Within 2 weeks she had 6 friends. After 3 years I wanted to retire in Thailand, she agreed and hear we are she still in regular contact with Aussie Thai friends.
It not all about money with all Thai ladies many of us have loving wives. Regardless marriages have up and downs, support and love each other thinks will work out hopefully.

Why waste money on heaters unless temps consistently below 10c, get a fleece tracky to wear when drops below 12c.
Even in Aust always wore shorts when 15c.
Save electricity and the environment.

Beef reasonable price here, Rimping have healthy beef mince 350bht kg would think that be on par with Australia these days.
I think margins high on imports as turn over slowed and use by dates come up.
When I was in png years ago we got great deals purchasing fcls from aust and nz. Don't think one supplier selling fcl of 1 product here.
If you see it at good price fill the freezer.
Other option eat less.

Goes deeper than supermarket bags
Plastic bags every where. See people buying iced drinks you get a plastic cup and lid alond with plastic straw and a plastic carry bag.
Food vendors would be handing out more plastic than supermarkets. This is what ends up as road trash not shopping bags.
Oh well every bit less helps.
Top marks to Tesco, I stick with supply of cooler bags I brought from Woolworths Australia.
Very strong version should last 10 years.

Didn't see Australia or Mexico in list.
Australia with pbs meds fairly cheap and super cheap for pensioners.
Mexico was far cheaper than Thailand for the meds I buy here.
Stocked up on my holidays last year.

I agree with your comments re health insurance industry will benefit most, poor insurance for high fees.
Maybe that good idea 50k to 100k in trust account totally locked till leaving country.
What about dome of policies with excesses that amount also needs to be available to pay, unlikely insurance will settle a claim if excess not paid.
It already know fact majority of debts left are tourists and neighbouring country visitors not people on retirement and marriage visas.

Once you have stent medical insurance expensive and heart probably not covered.
I had stent in Australia they kept you overnight for observation.
I don't have insurance keep 1m in seperate account incase emergency.

Denfinately not a foreign tourist problem around reservoirs my area.
Rubbish on ground and roads all local food and drink containers.
Yep they will take a plastic bag going there to fish.
Pigs will fly the day they take it out with their rubbish.
Bins are non existent our area, but even if there unlikely be used.
Not easy problem to solve with way everyone arriving with plastic bags and foam food containers from roadside sellers.
I walk everyday and never have seen a branded bag from big c or rimping.
This problem goes much deeper than supermarket bags.

I use VPN on my android TV and android set top boxes without problems, Don't use a second router at all, just wifi booster
at 1 end house.
