What does Thailand expect that young people with no savings on a long term visa don't need to eat and pay things?? Of course they do things and because a workpermit is very difficult to get with all the paperwork they will do illegal.. Maybe time to review the Labour laws.. Stealing jobs from Thai is impossible as Thailand imports a lot of Myanmar. Cambodian and Malaysian workers to work here, as Thai only want to be boss and don't do the work by themselves

They are renting villas between them, I know of one villa 12 of them living there

  3. You better get used to it they are taking over, or are they being paid to be here? when you look at the amount of new restaurants that have opened in last 12 months,

We went out last night for a few beers and something to eat, in a well known place it was full of Russians, I know the place is not owned by Russians,

In Rawai they have taken over a large area on the beach front, Is Title owned by Russians does anybody know?

They are wrong to do so, just like the media and many on here. Airbnb is not illegal, only the owners, a bit like saying the car rental company is at fault if you break the speed limit.

A 2018 court ruling in Hua Hin declared that renting out a unit for less than 30 days without having a Hotel License violated the Hotel Act and was therefore illegal. For several months after that, many people were arrested and fined for listing their condominium units on AirBnB.

I just read this on that legal site,

If some condominium owners want to play it safe and rent freely on a nightly or weekly basis, they can ask the juristic person to apply for a Hotel License for the entire condominium. However, the requirements for obtaining a Hotel License are considerable.
