  1. Should be, but the number on the bill is the wrong length. I'll check the meter. Will report back when I work it out!
  2. The PEA e-service looks like an op This looks like an option, thanks. Does anyone know what the "person that uses electricity number CA"' number is in the form below? Can't see anything on the bill that matches the required length or has CA associated with it? Still difficult to pay online in my experience. PEAs smart app fails with 'cannot connect to server' when I enter my pin. Most of the PEA Payment Channel options seem like routes of payment that you could hypothetically use.. shopeepay is not available in this region. e pay have closed down, by the looks of it, and still owe me about 3000 baht from their QR code payment failure. 7/11 the default option still!
  3. Today is December 12th 2024. Bangkok bank's app still doesn't have a PEA option. I can report that the EasyPay https://ebills.asia/th option works with Bangkok Banks online banking (apply/get number at an ATM - easy nowadays). However, N.B. the Prompt Pay option is pretty dicey - currently awaiting a refund as their website didn't pick up a successful payment. Choose instead the online banking option. It will take you to Bangkok Bank's ibanking with the payment set-up. (N.B. It might instead randomly offer you a QR Code instead. If so, probably better to click back and select it again. Then you will be offered the actual online banking option, as expected. In the end, this option is OK. QR code on the actual bill doesn't work for me ios or android.
  4. Ok , thanks guys, appreciated. Yep, 10 digit number for BKK Bank makes sense. Good point- unlikely to be an actual account. I validated it by trying to make a transfer with the Bangkok Bank app and get the ACC. number error, so that's good. Would have to be pretty unlucky here, but I guess it's possible?! I think it will just bounce. I'll wait a couple more days and then report at the local branch, if not.
  5. Any knowledgeable folks out there, who could advise on this? From reading some other threads, I understand the first three digits of a Bangkok bank account number are the bank's branch code. Bangkok Bangkok now have a four digit system i.e. branch code is 0926, which confused me. I think probably you drop the first 0 from the account number. So 0926 should be 926 for the account number..? In which case, I've messed up the transfer, and am wondering what will happen. If all the other details are correct (name of receiver, branch code, branch address and SWIFT code), will a human, eventually, pick up the error and be able to reconcile it? Say if the error was like this. Incorrect vs. correct: 092 6 31880 2 8 926 0 31802 8 Anyone know anything about validation checks, at this end? Or is it completely automated, and could arrive at someone else's account? :0 Not sure best course of action.. Thanks a lot. Jay
  6. Thanks guys. That is helpful to know.
  7. Hi Can anyone confirm current policy / options in this scenario: One year extension, issued by immigration office, is expiring soon (based on having a Thai child). If I do a land crossing visa run- most likely Vientiane -will I get exempt entry, and if so for how long? The situation is that it looks like we have misplaced the Tabien Baan hard copy (have photocopies) So probably going need time to sort this out… Applying for a Visa outside the country would be an option, but I think I need a house lease as evidence of residence ? Which I don’t have. I’m listed in the Tabien Baan and immigration have visited the house etc. so this is a different requirement than IO. Have all other documents… Grateful for any advice. Thanks.
