  5. Yeah TR, but its the airport i wanna know which should enter. I am guessing i can go to Chiang Mai. Transit bkk then change to Chiang Mai. Exit and then purchase a new ticket back to bkk
  6. Hi all Back in 2021 i stayed bkk with tourist visa plus about 5 covid extensions. I left in 2022 with 4 day overstay and the reapplied tourist visa and rentered via chiang mai and then bkk after 1 month back in uk. Recent trip i got tourist + 30 days + 1 covid extension and left with 14 overstay(was hospitalied and needed to.opearte). Now back in uk. I am thinking of just returning in a months time for a couple of months before i start a new job. What are my chancea of rentering? Should i apply for tourist visa and reenter again via chiang mai?
  7. just an update on this. I took the sg airlines from lhr to singapore and changed to chiang mai. i have the tourist visa and only submitted one page of my passport and ignored the covid visas. On arrival in chiang mai airport they just validated my tr and didnt ask a single thing and stamped me in. no checking for onward flight. now i am boarding straight away to bangkok. its a long journey but after many covid extensions and overstay it seemed the most reasaonable choice. just now going to enjoy the times now on bangkok as last year with nothing opened it was a pain. thanks all who gave the encouragement
  8. Yes Tourist Visa. Just concern after coming back so early 1 month away after being in Thailand for 14 months
  9. Having now got my TR Visa and Thai Pass. I have now over 20k Bhat equivalent in cash ready too. Now, for onward ticket, does this have to be back to my original destination or can i buy a cheap ticket to Vietnam and show that ?
  10. Status hasnt changed since the 20th April
  11. Hi All Any suggestions? I fly out on the 3rd May but I have yet to receive my TR. I applied on the 19th April. They wanted a statement with £500 in it and i sent this via email on the suggested email they mentioned on 20th April. However, I've yet to recieve any update since then? I've emailed to ask for an update and it is worrying with so close to my flight that i yet to receive my Visa and I've still got to do my Thai Pass. Any suggestions what else i can do?
  12. Mainly for people who has been on covid extensions for the past year for a long time
  13. So does anyone have a reasonable thing to say to immigration why i want to come back so soon considering i was there for 14 months. My only intention is to enjoy the ease of resitrictions. I overstayed as i had acute appendictius and was in a rush to go back.
  14. I only wish to stay 2 months this time within the 2 months TR Visa. Not intending to stay longer. Hopefully with ease of restrictions, i want to enjoy a proper time in Thailand before going back to hands on deck work
  15. Please read my post clearly. I was on TR in Thailand for 14 MONTHs and not YEARS. Reason for coming back was because of covid stuck there and there wasnt much to do. Felt like a waste of time. However, during that time i met a girl and i have abit of unfinished business
  16. I will take UK-SIN-CNX flight. How was immigration there? I never flown international into CNX. I would arrive in the morning 10.15 and then if they scrap the Test and Go, then i would be taking the next flight into Bkk
