Then got a few meters further and fell into a garden and joed out. Woke up few hours later and just about back at hotel and the cop Isuzu ute pulled up with 4 little cops surrounding me with hands on batons and guns. In interrogation cell and security guard who spoke broken English saw me duch behind shed for pee was leading charge that I was the leader of a criminal burglar ring and was casing out the area. You couldn't make this up how stupid it sounds when I was still p!ssed out of my drunken brain. It got worse as the night D cop who spoke no English sticks a hand made gun in my face trying to get me to confess or scare me. Anyhow spent the rest of morning in cell with the nights drunks. In morning a cool detective who struck me as a stonehead who spoke little bit of English concluded truth I was drunk took me out for breakfast then took me to a magistrate who fined me 500 baht for being drunk and disorderly. Conclusion was that there is some real ahole cops and security guards in Thailand, but the day detective and magistrate struck me as fair and honest people. The security guard who was a real ahole I would have loved to have had the pleasure of meeting again in a dark deserted spot.

Asian women come with a quality pre loaded by their loving mums in their childhood that is now mostly lacking in western women. I see it in all the Asian females around me. But it's the sweetness, softness, gentle, caring and loving commitment loaded into their hearts that is the nectar that the honey bee can't refuse. You win that part of an Asian women or girl in any relationship type and you are the luckiest son of a bitch on this earth.

Footpaths. Don't use them and I walk 2 hours a day most days. They are danger traps not just for their dismal broken nature, head banging steel frames, bussiness in the space but also for the fancy tiles that are skating rings when wet. I walk on the road same place where the monks do but with the traffic coming towards so I have full view and control over my own safety. And thats on single lane sois or 3 lane roads. Tuktuk and taxi drivers not being able to understand google maps and my southern deep tones pronunciation...no prob...put a thai family member on the phone to give them directions.

I used to come here with the same knucklehead attitude to dogs displayed in this thread and the dogs knew it and many unnecessary actions ensured. Now I come here minus the knucklehead attitude and instead an open happy mindset and get on well with the soi dogs. And considering I do a 2 hour walk most mornings through the soi's I get to meet many dogs even the packs and alls sweet. Only place I will never go is through a temple narrow gate early nornings or evenings without other people about as the dogs in there are doing their night watch job. As for the one off dog on human tragedies for people to direct their own insecurities of Thai dogs, they happen in western countries too.
