  1. it's always been a rip off regardless, so no real grounds to complain when you were willing to pay that amount for a 5 year visa in the first place.
  2. I'm currently in the market for a car too, but you have to be incredibly patient when buying used in Thailand... One important piece of advice I have is to make sure there is some form of service history available for the car you intend to buy. If the seller says there is no service history, then run. There’s usually a good reason why the service history book or receipts go missing, often because the odometer has been tampered with or rolled back, and the seller doesn’t want you to see the true mileage logged in the service history. Here are some key tips: Always take a mechanic to inspect the car. Test drive the car. Check the service history. Buy directly from the owner of the car and try to avoid third-party sellers.
  3. Budget: 150,000 Preferred Brands: Toyota or Honda Condition: Must be well-maintained Please PM me if you have any options available.
  4. Those things are bulletproof. Just take a mechanic with you to inspect the car and test drive it before making a decision
  5. Pure arrogance from his part. Hope they throw the book at him
  6. What, like a 200 THB fine, and off you go on your merry way?
  7. Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a used car at the moment and came across a local seller who has a 2014 Mitsubishi Attrage for 125,000 THB. It has a manual transmission with 120,000 km on the clock and one previous owner. The car looks in great condition judging from the photos. However, I'm not very familiar with this car, so I wanted to get some insights from anyone who might own one here. Also, would you consider this to be a reasonable price?
  8. Yes, it's incredibly risky, and that's exactly why I'm looking to buy a car now. I'm sure it won't be long before my luck runs out, and God forbid I end up severely injured or dead. Just the other day, I nearly crashed into someone making an illegal U-turn in the middle of the road.
  9. That's the risk of riding a bike. Much better off buying a car in Thailand.
  10. I anticipate that immigration will coordinate with the tax department, so each time you submit or extend your visa, you will also be required to provide your tax information
  11. Another mentally challenged foreigner. Keep bringing in those quality tourists 😉
