I am 90 years old and don't expect to live too long. I have been in Thailand for over 40 years and I'm a writer. I have published five books. I'm thinking of writing a very long post on Facebook detailing a lot of people and their corruption. And post it just before I die. Does anyone think it would create problems for my family. My wife doesn't have Facebook or a computer. Our children live abroad
Pointless. The attention span on Facebook is approximately 3 minutes.

They spend money, unlike the current tightwads. Every satang is prisoner with some of them.

Well, China had been busy murdering 65,000,000 of their own people via purges, starvation, qmismanagementand corruption during the second half of the 1900s, plus they were so dirt poor that they couldn't viably conduct more than a few border skirmkshes.
But now that China has the 2nd largest economy in the world, China has lost no time in expanding their military and aggressively pushing outwards in all 4 directions using debt traps and military threats. Yes, even claiming Russian territory.
If you can read Chinese, you'd be able to access current Chinese military generals & admirals openly advocating war with the US today.
A strong China does not want friends.
Source? Particularly on the 65mn people. The rest will be interesting though. Provided its not western propagada.

No-one is making you read it.

From what I can see, and I might be wrong, to come to Thailand on any sort of visa, you need Covid test, Covid insurance and ASQ, cost about 60 - 80K Baht. That could double the cost of a holiday for many.
Now how many tourists, even long stay, are going to add that to the cost of their holiday?
if you are retiree, like me, then it is not too bad of an extra cost, just to get back to the place I call home.
No doubt in Anutin's world of high spending tourists, there are millions who do not care about the extra cost, and will be flocking to Thailand some time soon.
I suggest that one problem is that us retirees are not considered by Anutin or TAT to be high spending individuals, so not really welcome. Somebody convince Anutin otherwise and we might see the country open up to retirees
Anutin is Minister of Health. Why should he care if you've got no money?
I could see why he's worried that you'll be lifting with Covid.

Its weird that the figures are so high but all the Thai people known by TVFers are excellent drivers.
I wonder how that can be?

Perhaps, if instead of making it only for Thais, they should make it only for farangs. The corruption level would plummet.

Another "Pattaya is dead' sleep inducing, boredom piece. What's next? A 'black smoke belching buses' piece? A 'follow the tour guide' piece?
Pattaya will be ok,

I think having scooter as a mode of transport (only option for many, no bus etc.) and part of culture and all that is fair enough...
But then the government and parents should also take responsibility for safety and teaching the kids riding properly, respecting rules and taking care of other road users and so on.
It's not hard really, Thais are so glued to social media and TV, why not have more road use safety and learning campaign... (instead of so much other rubbish / propaganda they put out...!).
In US teenagers (14/15) can choose driving as part of their school curriculum to prepare to get their license, why don't they have somehing like that for scooters here...., not that difficult to implement...!
I came up with my own stats - see if you agree..., if Thais just followed the road rules and take care by 20% more, the road accidents will be reduced by 80%...!? It's really easy and possible to do, some of the things/mistakes they do is just mind boggling in this day and age...????
In the US they........................
We dont live in the US. Thank Buddha.

Hang on, three days ago a guy from the Disease Control Department was saying that they've now dealt with all the covid cases caused by the Thai tarts crossing the border illegally, so where did this "second wave" come from all of a sudden?
Mr Anusorn made it up.
He should be a member of TVF. Cant see anything good.

Yuthasak said that 3.11 million Thais - trips would be undertaken and the economy would get a 12.6 billion baht injection.
No mention of how many actually DID take a trip and how much was actually spent.
Don't you find it odd the weekend is barely over and they have all these statistics already compiled?
No.
