    No problem.

You most likely need to obtain bank statements for roof of funds as imagine there has not been activity in the account.

    Which immigration office?

What method have you used to meet the financial requirements

Thank you for your answer; I.O Surin/Kapchoeng. I used the 800.000 in the bank and left it there all the time. There was activity in the bank account by paying electric and internet bills. The bankbook was update every 3 months. I made the newest TM 30 account to can register again. In the menwhile my passport was renewed in Holland.

The name has to be exactly same as in the database from immigration. If he recocnice the name you fill in, down the "fill in field" the name will come in green in Thai and English language. Click on it and he move to the fill in field. Province was Surin, the databse found. The district and subdistrict i let it write it by someone in Thai and send to me by Line. After copied and paste to the fill in  field and..the database found it

If main page and the Thai immigration stamps/stickers on the old passport are "unharmed" you will have no problem.

Different countries have different methods of voiding an old passport.

Some put void stamps on all EMPTY pages others just punch holes.

Then just show the old and new passports and immigration at airport will stamp my new period of stay  in the new passport? I never did this before...

Thanks for the info. I read that the first time you get a retirement visa  (extension to non O based on retirement) its for 15 months and also read on the forum that when you renew your retirement visa its always around your birthday. Is the first retirement for 15 months, the renewal upto your birthday on the following years and every renewal after that from your birthday to birthday.

The visa extension period has nothing to do with your birthday. Probably it is swapped with the validity of a driving lisence

Another quick question, is there a Bangkok Bank branch in Kap Choeng where I can update my bank book and get a letter? I did check on Google Maps, but it wasn't really clear, there is something marked as a Bangkok Bank branch, but it looks like a residential building in a small moo baan.

    Thanks,

    Jake

Maybe this link can give you some information, however it was an extension Non O based on retirement....

There is no Bangkok Bank in Kapchoeng anymore; I was there 1 month ago. The nearest Branch is in Prasat where they can help you quickly. Do you know there is also a new immigration office at the bypass from Surin?Personally I like the office at Kap Choeng where I always go (however I just live 12 km outside Surin city).

First up thankyou for the report.

Not suggesting your account is not accurate so all good.

As for boarding pass request from immigration that's just nuts.

I accept you were asked for this but just crazy request from immigration.

Regarding the reentry permit many offices would do that at a different counter and you would fill in the details yourself.

Hence my comment that's not the norm as to advise others to prepare TM8 for separate process.

Obviously done AFTER the extension process.

In the first place I not adviced people ; just told my experience from today. This new office not have many separate counters as 90 days report etc. Just the first counter is to judge your request whatever you want, And as I told, nice, helpfull people... That;s why I not go into the new office at city Surin  but 50 km more far to Kapchoeng..

Seems you have a very helpful immigration office.

For a reentry permit that requires you to fill in a TM8.

Sounds like they did this for you.

Sounds like you obtained a bank statement this is separate from the bank letter.

The bank letter is usually 100baht.

You mention boarding pass. Think you mean TM6. (arrival card)

    You stated.....

"Copy passport ID page + arrival/non O visumstamp and boarding pass"...

You need more pp pages photocopies than what you outline..

Dr Jack I see you are very active on this forum and probably know lot more about visa then me.

For a reentry permit that requires you to fill in a TM8.  I not needed to fill in as 2,5 years ago

The bank made a statement about my balance today: 100 THB and a certified copy of my balance during last year: 100 Bath

You need more pp pages photocopies than what you outline..  NO!! ???? And I arrived at 29 august, not got a TM 6, they asked for the boarding pass. I am not on this forum to tell lies.. Just wanted to give usefull information. As I know all can be different in other immigration offices/oficers.............

    Which immigration office.

    Is this extension the first?

Sorry to ask, I follow this forum everyday but I see different requirements as example; map to your home, picture you stay in front of your home showing home and homenumber, rental agreement or just TM 30 and electricity /internet bills in your name, copies from every passport page, or just ID page/visa page and arrival stamp.. Maybe better to ask the immigration office what they exactly want?

    1.  Most offices will accept a Google Map these days - and yes it may be required for retirement extensions - has always been asked here in Bangkok.

    2.  Proof of residence can vary but here in Bangkok they accept my TM30 receipt.

    3.  You can only extend at office serving your reported residence.

Thank you for information, before all people near and around Surin had to go to Kapchoeng. Now there is also a new office at city Surin. For my TM 30 I could go to Kapchoeng or Surin the office told by phone. Point 3 does it mean that I can extend now only at the office where I made my TM 30?

This is why Warfarin is considered ‘old tech’....  Drugs like Rivoroxaban (Xarelto) have superseded it and are far safer to take (under medical advice of course).

The only issue with Rivoroxaban is that unlike Warfarin which can be reversed with Vitamin-K (injection) the ‘thinning’ effects of Rivoroxaban cannot be reversed.

My experience with Acenacoumarol (as Warfarin) is about 11 years positive/safe if check INR as needed; example weekly. You mentioned already the postive side with Vitamin-K if need to cancel the thinning effect quickly; example for a quick operation.. My hematologist in a specialised hospital in Holland still advice me not to change to the newer medication.. Maybe the situations can be different..

...On the topic I just reacted that you should eat less instead of more when your INR is too high..

I had extremely chronic DVT eleven years ago.  My doctor gave me Warfarin for months and then took me off of it.  My next check up showed my INR was too high so I was prescribed a bigger dose of Warfarin. My doctor didn't know what else to do.  Real long story short is I ended up at Bumrungrad at the Horizon Cancer Clinic and Dr. Harit gave me a complete physical and said he had never seen a case as bad as mine. He prescribed Xarelto, one pill a day for six months. Back then Xarelto was 800 Baht per pill but it got the job done !!! All up I spent 20 months under medical supervision.  I wear a full length compression stocking daily.  I have had two doctors recommend that if I were to fly in excess of 3 hours I should inject myself with Heparin every 3 hours during a long haul flight along with drinking a lot of water, compression stocking and walk around the plane frequently.  I hope this information is of some help to you !!!

If your INR is too high you should eat less Warfarin; not more. I had DVT and brainbleeding, because one from the 4 bloodvanes in the neck was locked..;chek INR weekly at home.  My advice is too use warfarine, check INR reguarly and special short time before fly (should be around 3.0-3.5). And.. ofcourse the other precautions told by other people as walking in the plane etc..

The Cambodia, Laos and Malaysia  border crossings are open. It should not be a problem to leave and re-enter the country at about any of them

Is it still possible with a Non O multiple entry visa, to go to Chon Chom and leave and re-enter the country as before in about  1 hour? (without problems).. Or should there be some days between leave and re-enter?

If you want to cancel the registration I think it will require contacting immigration about it.

You could login with the existing password and etc to do a report.

Thank you for advice Joe. After calling the immigration In Kapchoeng, I knew that under "" edit profile" there is an option to change the name and upload the documents from the new owner as ID, tabain bahn from this house and the tabain bahn from the house in which she is registered. As extra I uploaded the 2 sides from the chanote in which the new and owner before, is visible.
