  1. I'm sure they will answer your inquiry promptly. Brb
  2. Citizenship and Residency Collapse Do I need to be a U.S. citizen to request help from the U.S. child support program? Citizenship is not required for a person to apply for child support services. Do I need to live in the U.S. to request help from the U.S. child support program? Residency is not required for a person to apply for child support services. However, if you live outside the U.S., state law in the U.S. state you apply to will determine the help that the state can provide. (See FAQs under When the Custodial Parent Lives Outside the U.S.)
  3. They could certainly enforce it by revoking his passport. US citizens have to obey US laws doesn't matter where they are. It seems like everyone knows this except US citizens.
  4. Actually they do teach about japanese invasion doing WW2 and there is even a famous Thai movie about it. Just curious when you moved here 15 years ago where did you think you were coming?
  5. She can certainly hire a lawyer in us and skin you alive. The question is of she will bother. Most Thai women don't seem to have knowledge or patience.
  6. Another tat freak roaming in Thailand. On the news they interviewed a 12 year old schoolgirl that he attacked and tried to rape after he attacked a woman in massage shop. 25 years in Thai prison please.
  7. Well, you can always live like a schmuck 1 month on 30k and save that 20 for the next month. No biggie
  8. It all comes down to the cost of healthcare in this country. Personally I'd be able to live just fine on 50k. I'm shocked how much they charge just for consultation at better hospitals these days. The price of insurance will go through the roof for old folks and this is what will make the stay unaffordable for many.
  9. All right, so quite normal then. Been some time since I went to a "hiso" hospital. Yes I never saw 2 charges separate like this. Is it possible they charge for registration?
  10. I am pretty sure the 200 baht clinic would have sorted the issue as it's nothing complicated. Nothing to do with question asked which is how much other hospitals charge for seeing a doctor.
  11. Live close to this hospital and have small infection, so decided to check it out. Kinda like you wanna try a new restaurant. After a small chat a doctor I was presented with a bill. 1000b doctor fee 350b administration fee 140b nurse fee Are these fees normal these days because I remember bumrungrad being cheaper
  12. This is your reply to everyone who doesn't pay for sex. Get a life ????
  13. Ok. But can you live in another country and still get full 2000? No residency requirements to live for example 6 months a year?
  14. Who cares? Don't take this the wrong way too but if you married someone much younger than yourself perhaps you have more serious issues than me.
  15. After my divorce I dated a university student who had no parents. Really nice girl, but a bit overly obsessed with self image Instagram and TikTok. Very insecure and that worried me about the future. Then my almost 20 year older then her Chinese wife showed up. Confident, good job and drags me by hand 3 weeks later to amphur. 2 years later she's still paying for everything I ask. I couldn't be happier.
  16. And I have a question? Basic pension in Australia is 50k baht a month? That's 2000 aus dollars. The government really gives that much to old people? This is much better than Canada where you only get 600-700 a month....the rest is income supplement for old people, but to qualify you have to actually live in the country. Is this the same in aus? How do pensions work there?
  17. It's more than possible right now. Unfortunately many people seem to forget when they move to Thailand that they don't have any rights whatsoever. The laws, requirements, visa rules can change at the whim. Never sell your primary residence back home.
  18. Farang asking equal rights in Thailand. Too funny. Quick Google search reveals that Hua Hin hospital is a government hospital. Why doesn't this cheap Charlie Dutch have health insurance? Government hospitals in Thailand are cheaper for a reason and they are already overwhelmed with Thai patients. The dutch comes from a privileged country with his most likely privileged pension. I find it a bit over the top that most of you support this loser. If a Thai comes to Canada to study they have to pay 300% more in fees than a Canadian student. They have to be insured to receive health benefits. What does this joker want? Plenty of things wrong with this country. This is not one of them
