  1. Usual paperwork as mentioned on the instructions needed however they also requested verification of my income from abroad as well as 6 months of bank statements from my Thai bank. Had to run to the print shop down the road to get that. They were happy with it which showed I had been transferring over 40k baht a month. This was for non O based on marriage. They never required income before but today they did.
  2. Ho Chi Minh City easy flight from Bangkok drop off in morning pickup next afternoon. No financials required like savanheat. However you need an appointment in ho chi Minh.
  3. I wear a xl in America but here I take a 4XL
  4. Can you use an American marriage certificate to get a 1 year multiple entry non O visa from the Thai embassy or do you need to get it transferred into Thailand at an amphur first?
  5. That's what I am worried about. We contacted several amphur ourselves no one is willing to marry a foreigner and a Thai most common excuses is still covid. No idea why since covid is over now. Even our agent who has connections in several amphur is having trouble. I contacted the Thai embassy in ho Chi Minh City and the one in Washington DC to see if they would accept the marriage certificate from the United States for a visa. Long holiday weekend again so don't expect a reply until later in the week sometime.
  6. That is a 1 year multiple entry visa however you need to leave every 90 days or go to immigration to request an extension for the cost of 1900 baht. Being married to a Thai you can get a 60 day extension per entry.
  7. I'm having an extremely hard time getting married in Thailand even though I have all the required documents and everything certified from ministry of foreign affairs. The district offices just keep making excuses and told me to get an agent. So I got an agent who got me an October 18 date for the wedding however then the district office said it's only a document check that day. The agent is trying to get us married in a different district office up in Bangkok rather than Pattaya. However they won't give him a date. So plan b we might do which is a virtual US wedding. We would get a marriage license in the United States and get married through video with the judge in the United States. Marriage license and certificate would be the same as if we married in person in the United States. Nothing would say virtual. Could I then use that certificate at the Thai Ho Chi Minh embassy to apply for a one year multiple entry O visa? Or would I need it certified and legalized and transferred to the amphur here in Thailand. My concern on that is they might give us the run around to get that done like the run around on the marriage.
  8. Entered Thailand today after being out of the country for a month. Flew in on emirates from Dubai on a first class ticket. Went to the fast track line bunch of lady immigration officers working it. Handed my passport over and she flipped through the pages. Said you been in Thailand too long why you here? I said I'm getting married in a week. She said can you prove it. I showed her the receipt from the agent I'm using and the appointment for the district office. She then asked if my future wife is Thai. I said yes. She then said congratulations and stamped me in. I was on a non O visa up until June of this year when I divorced my ex wife. Then I left the country and came back on a visa exempt from June to July then did a 30 day extension and then one covid extension while I was trying to get married to my new wife but the district office wasn't allowing it their excuse was covid and they told me to get an agent if I want to get married.
  9. Can't get a queue to go into the building unless you are going for a drivers license. Since covid they have tents set up outside where you renew tax on vehicles and transfer vehicles. It was the land transport guy who did that.
  10. It's currently being transferred into my name I'm currently out of the country so need to get a new residence certificate when I get back again with my new visa. Land transport had issues with my stamps in my passport understanding the last covid extension I had.
  11. I have the paperwork from her to transfer the bike into my name and it will be transferred once I get back to Thailand from the US and get a new visa and new residence certificate. The original loan was paid off but then it was refinanced about 6 months before we got divorced. I have no clue where she refinanced it. She sent me a screenshot of what was due to pay it off then I sent her the money then several days later she gave me the paperwork to transfer it and the green book.
  12. I received a receipt from the pattaya land transport office for 3000 baht Bank transfer to the guy outside the building doing the changes.
  13. Residence certificate was extra and they wouldn't accept that one so I need to go get a new residence certificate again then hopefully be good. I took my Thai fiance with me but she never owned a motorbike and didn't know much. Taxes were paid all the time on it was just transferring from my ex wife to me. Bike is only a year old. They made me take it for an inspection which it easily passed.
  14. I have the green book so does that prove it's paid off then here in Thailand?
  15. OK so land transport ripped me off they charged me 3000 baht and are giving me the run around.
  16. I paid my ex wife for my motorbike which was financed under her name. She said she paid it but I'm not sure. She can't provide me with a receipt from the finance company she lost it. She refuses to provide me with the finance company says she forgot. How can I find out if there is a loan on the bike?
  17. What's the cost to get a 150cc motorbike transferred from one person to another?
  18. Have her login and do the tm30 again and screenshot the result. Can try searching also again make sure to change the dates on the search parameters to the dates around when you created the last tm30. If you don't change the dates to the correct date the system doesn't find it.
  19. Sounds like she tried to make a new account and not login and create a new tm30 form
  20. I got my moderna booster yesterday at Bangkok Pattaya hospital for 800 baht to sign up just walk in then in between Starbucks and the emergency room they have a desk set up where you register and pay. Then you go to 5th floor then wait a little bit then they take your temperature then they call you in the room and give the vaccine to you. They said wait 30 minutes for certificate but took them an hour seemed to do it in batches. Overall I spent about 2 hours there.
  21. Thanks ubonjoe It states ***All supporting materials that are not in English must be accompanied by certified English translations and certified by an embassy only *** I'm assuming that I wouldn't need to get my Thai papers translated since they are Thai?
