  1. An unexpected and much needed win for Thai port, looks like some good work being with the bac line their. But What the hells happened to Buriram, they looked a far cry from the all conquering treble winners of last season. Yesterday they were second best in every department, out run, out fought, and from the bench even out thought.

Very true as for the reason I can say they are missing OHANDZA who was leading goalscorer last season with a broken leg but they should have better quailty replacements,The 3+1 rule also as the quality of our African/Brazilian players last season was good but this season can only play 3 last season we had 5 in most of the matchs also the players seem to think that they just have to go on the pitch and its job done. MuangThong have improved.I still think that we will finish in the top TWO.

  2. What has happened to TTM Phichit ? They seem to have disappeared from this year's TPL - though there is a team called TTM Chiang Mai - has the franchise moved ?

100% Correct they moved from Phichit to ChiangMai also Sisaket moved to become Esan United and Buriram FC who won Division 1 were renamed Wauchon United and moved to somewhere in the south.

  3. Who is responseable for the upkeep of a rented house?

Was going to move into a house but the owner wants me to pay 20000 baht to paint the interior and fit new shower unit. However I think that it should be down to them to maintain the property. Is this the case?

    No contract has been signed.

  4. Muang Thong Utd 0 Buriram PEA.1 A goal in the second half of extra time was enough to win the game

This result means that Buriram have done the DOUBLE and Thai Port stand in there way of being the first Team in Thailand to do the Treble.

The game against Thai Port is on Saturday 4th Feb

  6. Fortune would be best area to get a battery at the moment

There is an official HTC store at Fortune and any replacement battery you buy there will cost you a fortune! I was quoted about B 1400 (US$ 45) for a 2nd battery for my HTC Desire. Went on eBay and found a Hong Kong based seller of new Desire replacement batteries offering 2 batteries and a recharger-plug for about US$ 15 (shipping included)! Ordered from them and arrived at my door in Pattaya in about 15 days :)

PM me if you want seller info as don't think can post such commercial info in the open :o

did you have to pay import duty?

  7.

That is too funny. I guess the sight of you guys having a quiet drink was driving down the property values.

In Muang Buriram some bars only have a licence to sell beer from 17:00 to 24:00 so maybe it a BIB thing?

  10. UK pensions has nothing to do with tax. Surely it's to do with 'National Insurance' ? 'Interest' ? Are you talking about bank savings interest earned in Thailand ?

I have a company pension and pay UK tax on it However I have it paid into a bank account in Thailand and pay tax again on the interest.
