The Topics sidebar on the right never mentions the section of the forum the post is in and it's easy to forget to check. At least that's how I got here.

With only one post , the OP is probably looking elsewhere for female to female advice.........

At that point,  you wait for her to call the manager to explain to her that " items" are represented by the amount of scanning tags and not the amount of the packaged contents .

 At this point ,you can go back to the store, speak to the manager first for approval and then  go to her checkout line with the same items.

Hindsight  , you could have separated the amount of eggs up to the ten items and forced her to enforce her own rule and scan each egg or type in a scan code for each egg.

She probably worked in a rural store before that sold loose eggs and thought she was bringing her valuable work experience to the job.  ......

Always best to wait for a manager.  It's the 99% solution to most problems like this .........

The  $188,561.00  Trumps LLC  paid in China for 2013 -2015  local taxes was considerably larger than the  $750.00 Dollars he paid to the US Government for 2016,2017 income taxes.

Why do some countries drive on the left side of the road? Most of the world drives on the right side of the road. But around 76 countries and territories use left-hand traffic.

The practice is believed to date back to ancient Rome. Romans steered their carts and chariots with the left hand, to free up the right so they could use weapons to defend against enemy attacks.

This carried over into medieval Europe and in 1773, the British government passed measures to make left-hand traffic the law. But post revolution France favored the right.

Napoleon was left-handed, and riding on the right proved to be an intimidating military tactic. Britain and France brought their driving styles to their respective colonies. That's why many former British territories are among the few modern left-hand-traffic countries.

In the US, right-hand traffic goes back to the 18th century. Freight wagons were pulled by teams of horses. and the drivers rode on the left rear horse, using their right hand to more easily control the team. Traffic shifted to the right so drivers could easily avoid collisions.

Eventually, with the rise of the automobile and increase in global traffic, many countries switched to the right to fit in with neighbors — including Samoa, which just switched from the left in 2009.

I have no problem believing that those landings were real. What will always keep me from changing that

point of view was the one moon landing that actually did not occur due to the Apollo 13 crisis in April of 1970. I skipped a few classes that week to keep track of the outcome of their situation. There is no mind sick enough to fake something like that. In time these same non-believers will resort to also disclaiming space shuttle missions (including the deaths of some their crews), the space station, The Hubble telescope, Mars exploration and other historic scientific achievements  in the same way. 

Going out of their way to tear down the success of others seems to empower them in some sort of David vs Goliath fantasy . It's a lot easier than going out of their way to do something constructive with their lives.

It's worth a few chuckles because of the irony involved in the meaning of the name Acme .   

The word acme is derived from Greek (ακμή; English transliteration: akmē) meaning the peak, zenith or prime,^[1] yet products from the fictional Road Runner cartoon Acme Corporation are often generic, failure-prone, or explosive.

The company name ACME in the photo is  probably an inside joke for the people who work there.
