  1. We are also in HCMC right now and getting a ME NON-O for my wife (I know we can easily get a 1 year extension in CW but we travel a lot so it's easier). Getting VND exchanged to USD can be tricky and not all exchange places can do that. A place that is definitely giving you USD is in:

    135 Đồng Khởi

Bến Nghé, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh

It's a 5 minute Grab bike ride from the Thai embassy or just exchange at the airport which is probably the easiest.

You make a lot of assumptions there in that post with absolutely no hard facts or statistics to back up what you believe.

Finally someone with a functioning brain here. That's exactly the issue with this forum, people selling their assumptions as facts.

A Multiple Entry Non-O is a great visa to go in and out whenever you want without getting a re-entry each time.

but there are a huge amount of people with 90 days Non-imm O with ME, who's leaving every 90 days because they don't want to be reported/in the system anywhere

Do you really think you are not being "reported in the system anywhere" when leaving and entering the country (+TM30)? You are also saying "huge amount of people", please clarify with real numbers and a source.

  3. Check T77 in On Nut. It's gated with a small (rather useless but with a good co-working space) community mall and was developed by Sansiri. There are different condos like Garden Square (House), Hasu Haus, Mori Haus and The Base (not so nice). Also has a shuttle leaving every 20 minutes to BTS and each condo has their own extra shuttle going at different times.

If my country had thousands of Thais with back to back tourist visas and doing border bounces to Norway, Germany and whatever and ask for yet another 30 day waiver or the 4th 'tourist' visa in 2 years, hmm, I would not mind that immigration does their job.

Comparing a well developed European country with Thailand is not working in this case.

  5. With that massive wage gap in Thailand, an increase of the lowest income class from 300 to 400 THB a day should not increase the general living costs for the whole economy. The effect in Bangkok would also be lesser than in provincial areas. It would be interesting to know what share of the working population receives a minimum salary, otherwise it's all just BS we are talking here.

Near the Phra Khanong BTS is the W District outdoor food court with a wide variety of food foreign and Thai.

Also, pass there after they close and in the morning/noon hours leaving all the food leftovers on the tables. While it's dark, it's a big outdoor food court for the rats and after the sun comes out, for pigeons. But yeah, enjoy your food eating from the same tables that are only being cleaned when it rains.

Man should have shot himself first!

BTW, where are all these handguns coming from? THAT should be investigated. Oh, and one more thing, Thai women, PLEASE start using birth control. Too many kids being born to unready youths. If you want to have your fun, fine. Just don’t bring any innocent lives into your social hell.

    From Wikipedia:

About one in ten people in Thailand legally own a gun. There are more than six million registered guns in a country with a population of 66.7 million. Small Arms Survey estimates that the total number of guns, both licit and illicit, held by Thai civilians in 2017 is 10,300,000 equating to 15.1 firearms per 100 inhabitants.

But visa running muay thai farangs are still visa runners, right?

I'm guessing the majority of ED holders (except university students maybe) are counting as visa runners but as far as I know it's not against any law and not illegal. You are not doing anything wrong.

extend my Non-b visa, is it possible?

I would think you need a WP to extent a non b. But if you go back to Tourist visa, you are legally not allowed to work. And when the WP has been processed you need to switch to NON-B again? Can a WP be issued if you are on a Tourist visa?
