PhorPhor is Thai for a permit to stay.

 

 

I am on my 60 day extension for visiting child (as IO did not want to give me my extension based of being parent of thai child) .... that ends mid may ... if this thing is extended for 30th of may, I do not need to go to immigration with embassy letter or other papers ?

what is phorphor anyways and what farang could know what it is ?

to problem is: renting a new place, while staying in family home with child was the one reason why I did not go for a long battle in court for the 2 houses we bought during marriage and I was entitled for half.... BIG MISTAKE, I don't have a time machine, so will not cry for it...

I live in a 10 million baht home I helped (cash)pay for ...

I was supposed to be able to live here to raise my child till 20 years child age. (after high school, we projected anyway to go study Uni in Europe... but that is many years in the future)

Losing that and having to go rent a 3rd place, while having paid 2 houses is a very sour pill to swallow.
