Sorry if this is in the wrong column but I have looked for the travel column and cannot see it. I recently booked a hotel through booking.com on the hotel add it's stated which I have a screenshot of that there is free Wi-Fi in the rooms,. I will try and attach the screenshot here. Anyway I need WI-Fi now they're saying they have no Internet so I want to cancel but,. There is no free cancellation and they have my card details when I get there I must pay at the hotel , the question is,. If I go to the my bank today and change my card details MasterCard can this hotel still take money from my bank card. Booking.com are useless anyway and I shouldn't have booked through them my usually stick with agoda so I don't really care if they they try and take money in the future as I will not book with him again their customer service is horrendous what should I do thanks

Hi my girlfriend is flying to Turkey to meet me for a 2-weeks stay,. She is fully vaccinated with Moderna plus booster shot. I have Googled before the Thai citizens do not need a visa to enter Turkey they are allowed a visa free re2 enter Turkey up to a period of 30 days. But....... Is there any kind of special paperwork she needs to do beforehand does she need to do a cover test beforehand and if so what type of test would she need to do. We have never been through this before so all answers or information are greatly appreciated thank you

My partner has a son and he has cerebral palsy very severely handicapped mentally and physically. He is 20 years old. She is working in a long way away from him and she needs to provide for his care I help as best I can but it is getting such a burden. I'm stuck in a rut because I have another child my own biological daughter and she is needing financial support in my home country. Does anyone know if the Thai government offer any assistance financially towards handicap children and their parents surely there are some free government schools for children / people with this type of handicap his mother just cannot cope both financially and mentally it's a huge huge Burden. thanks tony, but the visitor's visa we want is a first stepping stone in a long-term goal,. Of course we want to marry,. But we need to marry later as I'm still married albeit separated 7-8 years now, cvd19 has held up my divorce to my ex wife. Once my divorce is through I will marry my partner and then I will try for marriage visa or whatever. And yes my post does smack of desperation but we both are committed to each other as we have been together 3 years now and I'm not prepared to let this go,. What is the alternative of just to give up and throw in the towel and tell her we are finished . so frustrating ????

You can see the refusal letter from the UK embassy on my last thread I'm now wondering since my partner has been refused a visitor's visa to the UK, would now be advisable for me to go down the EU route. I have dual citizenship I hold an Irish passport and I also hold a British passport,. many years ago I got my first wife back here using my Irish EU\ EEA visa route, the UK Border Agency or embassy whatever just seem to be very difficult to deal with. I am sick at the moment and I get welfare benefits due to having kidney failure but I am due to get a transplant within the next year therefore I will start work within the EU or ireland. ( My biggest issue in my life at the moment is getting back on my feet and getting my partner out of Thailand and home here in Ireland or the UK with me. I really need the find way whatever the cost. Thanks for any advice that you can throw my way ????????????

thank you for your advice would it be advisable to to email UK embassy in Bangkok and tell them that this Visa agent is not being upfront and honest with their applications
