Crime Australian Man Arrested After Loaded Gun Found During Patong Patrol
chrisbangkok replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Not wanting to draw attention to himself dressed in full hells angels colours and waving a loaded pistol about Mr Mcgahey, thought to be a mensa member , wonders what all the fuss is about . " I was only going to 7-11 for some corn on the cob and a nice cheese toastie cobbers " Guess a few years in pokey now then unless he's very well minted . -

What is it that USA exports that is so sought after in Thailand ? Can't be the crappy poor quality cars they make , Hardly Davidsons for the ultra rich or is it the chemically converted chicken and beef , maybe Boeings with bits falling off or inability to fly straight ? -

Frozen in time: British expats losing out on pensions in Thailand

Or planned for their future whilst working and ensure they're not reliant on a state pension which if that's all they had in the uk they'd be struggling even more .. no pad krapow at 40 baht etc etc ... it's no mystery , you'll need money when you're older so plan ahead while you're younger and then the state pension becomes your "beer" money . -
Rising Baht Sparks Fears of Another 'Tom Yam Kung' Crisis

It's consistently failed to capture that opportunity as the leader focus is only inward facing and reliant on tourism . Vietnam has stolen the March on that and Thailand struggles to create meaningful strategy and conditions for manufacturing industries . The Thai banking system is all about flooding easy loans and high debts thus ensuring it can repossess and sell on at 50% value and maintaining the rich elite The baht value is set as they wish , it's not tied to any other currency rather a tool of that elite . Forget manufacturing in Thailand.- 106 replies
