How can more public holidays assist the economy when surely there must be a flow on impact to small and medium business? Who l assume are also suffering at the moment.

One of the issue as l see it, will be the world wide financial situation. Assuming all borders open in 6 months, which is doubtful, there are not many who will have funds to travel and those that might have a disposable income will most probably not wish to head overseas for some time. My uneducated guess would be very low numbers of tourist for at least 2-3 years.

When I view footage such as this l feel sad for Thailand, l am not sure what has gone wrong and why some Thai’s (young and old) seem to resort to this type of behaviour. I would assume this action is the result of a change in the Thai mindset to a degree. I actually believe this type of behaviour represents the breakdown in Thai couture, as such where might we be in 10 years if such actions are not proactively addressed.

Ive looked at them and wondered do they taste like Alaskan, or are they the same rubbish as local Beef.
Local beef most likely is buffalo, but is very good if cooked in a pressure cooker ????

Your welcome, I just hope that with the shutdown that they are back up to speed. I liked the ice skating rink as well. The restaurant is a chain, and we just ate at the one here in Bangkok at Siam Paragn. The lobsters there were very large.
I don’t think the ice skating is still here, at least not that l have seen. I am taking my wife to the restaurant for birthday, mid next month. l will post a note and let you know how the food was........thanks again

I could be harsh by my opinion is that these are mere gestures without any what so ever effect to do any difference to the situation.
Some would say its better than nothing but i think that these actions do more harm than good.
The starving people must turn their attention to the government to come up with long term solution instead of standing in line begging for food from local citizens and foreigners. I thought the proud thai and their government would not accept charity from strangers. Instead the should be standing outside government buildings demanding their rights.
These farangs and thais buy them self happiness with some bags of rice and eggs but for how long can they do that? A week? Two weeks?People are starving it nothing on the horizon indicate any improvment. Hungry people might come back and can turn aggressive if you turn them back so what do you do then mr farang?
There is so much worse misery in the world so do you think that you bag of rice do any difference think again. It's arrogant to think that you have done any difference with this "charity". If it makes you feel good then think again on why you are doing it.
Don't mean to offend anybody but this is the reality.Amazing comment above, your view on reality and my view are very different. I hope you never have to go hungry.

The unfortunate truth is they have none nothing illegal in Thailand
Distaste to millions, but not illegal, I doubt many Thais of any generation would have knowledge of the holocaust
Correct, this issue like so many problems is based around a lack of education. From my perspective the issues with the education system will continue to hold back the Country

The new recruit then?
Can you explain why you need to make such a comment, or possibly highlight in my post where l was incorrect in stating that if you break the law you must deal with the consequences. Thank you

So a Thai grouse turned him in; he will be deported and the Thais who had been benefiting from his custom will lose out. Thai logic.
He over stayed, it’s the law, l don’t see what the issue is.
