I'm sure Mike McNamee will indeed teach, guide and mentor the new owner where 5.5m baht is involved.
But can Mr McNamee guarantee to magic up a venue full of paying punters every night of the week?
Why would he? He's not the owner.

Why are there different lines for foreigners and Thais? Is this normal at bang lamung?
Never encountered this at any DLT i've been to. Everyone lines up in the same queue.
What difference does it make? if that is it how it works now that is it.

Golf tourism in Thailand is mostly a distraction for when the hookers are sleeping it off. Still, it's a great cover for guys who come to Thailand... Bring the sticks and tell everyone you're off on a golf holiday (wink, wink)
Well done with that pathetic remark, got your post count up by one.

This is a spelling mistake. they missed an e at the end. It should be Golfzone! Everybody know that is something you enter when you wish to have 160 km per hour flying golf ball implanted in your forehead.
Great answer to get your post count up another step.......

Your a real winner with comments like that. So everyone could have just dropped what they were doing, left their job, got off a rig etc, etc and come here before the airport shut (about which nobody had a clue what date would be)

Perhaps we're literally living in two different Thailands. Golf courses in Chiang Mai--and Chiang Rai--have always accepted a Thai DL as proof of Thai residency.
I have heard that they are the only two areas where this happens, as other posters have said DL or pink ID card doesn't make any difference most other areas, unless u show up of course.......

your embassy will be contacted and they sort it out, if no one wants your body after a while, cremated. bye bye.
Some countries embassies might help contacting relatives, but I don't think they arrange cremations etc.

If you are currently in Thailand on a VOA, exempt or tourist visa that has expired, then I doubt immigration will extend again and you will be expected to depart the country by 31st July.
From what I've read on another visa advice group the way the amnesty is worded is that you are allowed to stay until July 31st, but no more extensions will be given and they really expect you to be gone before that date. There are flights leaving to most western countries or the large transfer hubs daily, and they expect people to be on them.

So, let's say 2 weeks from now you get contacted by health dept. because someone has the virus and you were in the same shop as them on a certain day. Do you have to go and get tested? who pays for it? Do you have to quarantine?

The key is still social distancing. if you're in a pool and you're in close contact while not wearing a mask, then the virus can still be spread.
Then you may ask, well, why not wear a mask in a swimming pool? Obviously swimming with a mask on your face can be dangerous for other reasons...while this may be true, how can it be worse than getting on the BTS? flying? foot massage? the list goes on and on.

Judging by a large amount of replies on here I wouldn't want to talk to most of you lot. Can't take the time to talk to an elderly neighbour, ignore people, hide.!! lovely human nature.
