Surprise, surprise.
It looks like they have reconsidered their mistake and are "postponing it" until March 2020 (I bet we never hear about it again though).

Sure is. Sheeple trained to follow their masters edicts to their eventual demise.
I said it before, a bomb goes off and everyone follows the herd only to be met with a second device strategically devised to kill the ensuing mass of sheeple.
Stop and think for yourself - even for a second - and give yourself a chance. Just like life, really.
A wise man makes his own road to travel on and follows no one. The rest have a Shepherd, or sheep herder and actually feel sorry for and pity those of us who don't. Isn't it ironic. I'm sure with an avatar like that you have many friends and supporters here in this swamp! Watch out for the cotton mouths, they're pretty fierce around here!!

I am surprised about how many People buy into this UN Money Scam BS.
It is not about anything other than getting more money through a "Carbon Credit system",
and Controlling everything in your Life.
How many times now they have cried "The End", over the last 100 Years.
Read UN Agenda 2030.
Excellent video BTW, I (for one) watched it in it's entirety and will pass it along to all of my Bernie Sanders supporting, communist, hard core left wing liberal, climate change activist friends (yes, I have a few of them in Hawaii which I have known for decades and are mostly old surfing buddies).
I'm sure they will get a kick out of it (even if they won't watch it).

Careful stating the truth here on this forum, you'll be called a conspiracy theorist.
Nice to know that someone else here is awake, aware and refuses to be blindfolded and then led to slaughter (like a good little sheep).

I guess this means that we'll have to go to the DLT Office (and pay) to get a traffic abstract now every time we renew our motor vehicle insurance. I bet the Insurance companies are also going to raise rates for those with a deduction of points on their driving records.
Sounds like a decent revenue generator for the DLT and the insurance companies to me.

Why is it thai motorists behave the way they do, how can any person ride a motorcycle at night with no lights with there family on board, why why why?
You forgot to mention that they were speeding, ghost riding (against traffic) wearing only shorts and slippers and that none of them were wearing helmets.
Answer: Tamai? Mai pen rai. (why? No problem.)

If your business has fewer customers, surely to attract more you would lower prices? Why do Thais raise them? Inadequate education?
It gives the impression that it is of the highest quality and reserved for the most privileged ones.

I pay 300 baht/kg for Norwegian salmon at the Samyan market in central Bangkok.
Sorry Mods if I'm off topic here but in response to Norwegian Salmon, I wouldn't eat that if it was the last thing left to eat on Earth. If you haven't seen this video documentary on it I suggest you watch it (for you AND your families sake). Carry on friends.

It could be that the shelf life on many imported goods is being reached since there are less foreigners (in some areas) and less of us purchasing expensive imported foods. Maybe they are just trying to recoup some of the cost of goods that were tossed after reaching their sell-by dates.
I noticed in the Makro here that many imported products were very dusty and some had already expired so not much in the way of rotation it would seem. They might have snuck in another VAT increase on these goods as well (it wouldn't surprise me).

He is a danger to himself and society and should be removed from the road into a mental treatment facility (= not prison) and deported when his health conditions allow.
Who's going to pay for this treatment? I'm certain that the Thai government and hospitals are not willing to pay for it.
The Thai government is happy to pay for the incarceration of a foreigner (for any amount of years) but not for any hospital treatment.

Quickest, cheapest and easiest way to rid this world of rotten scum buckets without wasting money on trials and appeals and incarceration and the like. Extermination, same as the rats and roaches that find their way into your home. Bravo to the Indian BIB!!

I believe it is referred to as dogma when someone makes up their mind and refuses to re-consider despite new research showing better information.
New research and better information, or is it a higher bidder and more money in someone's pockets?
23 minutes ago, gamb00ler said:Do you prefer dogmatic loyalty to previous interpretations of research results?
I prefer "true unbiased research" without a financial agenda run or financed by big agencies and corporations such as the FDA, WHO, AMA, Cattleman's Association, Big Pharma etc. I trust these agencies and corporations about as much as I trust a bar girl in Pattaya.

And your study of the relevant literature was published when and was funded by who?
My studies on the relevant literature rely on the 50+ years of study and practice by Dr. Robert Morse N.D. (who by the way also has a degree in Bio Chemistry and worked in several Hospital Emergency Rooms for many years), the 30 years of studies and ongoing medical practice and research by Dr. Alan Goldhammer and other M.D.s at the True North Health Center in Santa Rosa, California USA, as well as my own 58+ year life experience with extremes on both sides of the fence (to which I base my statements on).
If you are interested (which I doubt), Dr. Robert Morse has HUNDREDS of videos on YouTube, he has written many, many books on the subject which document his studies, his ongoing life's work and his patient's success stories. His crew includes an anatomy and biophysics Professor and other assistants with medical backgrounds. Doctor Morse is also an iridology expert and I put more faith in him and his methods of curing health related problems than any allopathic medical doctor on Earth.
Both doctors are absolutely adamant that we should avoid all milk and dairy products and that they are responsible for an over production of mucous by the body which is harmful and detrimental to our overall health. I know that many here are fine with consuming milk and dairy and that is your right. Many don't notice the damage until it is too late so carry on friends and Good Luck!!

And you will believe these studies which were funded by the Dairy Milk Farmers Association of America? LOL
If I have learned one thing about Western Medicine over the years it would be that money talks and the truth be damned.
Just how many times over the past decades have they flip flopped and completely done a 180 when giving their guidelines or recommendations, diet suggestions etc.
Sorry but I am prepared to stand alone here on this one and be perfectly happy doing so!

So, I think there are many expats here that spends a hell of a lot more money than a simple tourist. And many tourists doesn't show up year after year, but we are here.
Not to mention we BUY (not rent) motorbikes, cars, truck, condos, houses, land for our woman and kids, insurance policies for our vehicles, shop here year round (with no relief from VAT), buy furniture and appliances and the list goes on and on, all year round and year after year.

inform him that if he doesn't stop a police complaint will be lodged.
I don't think the police will do squat about it. He is throwing trash out the window onto his own property (many Thais do it). The fact that his trash is blowing onto someone else's property is of no concern to him or the police since that is a direct result of the wind and therefore he cannot be blamed for that. No, I am not being sarcastic here, I would place a bet that the police wouldn't even bat an eye.
