Agreed but, was the airline staff responsible? Hell no! They must have been even more <deleted> to have to be stuck on board babysitting for seven hours! The spitting Chinese woman should have been arrested immediately upon disembarkation.

We had similar experiences and in fact we stopped flying Cathey Pacific altogether because of just this sort of thing. It's a pity but in general terms they are the rudest people on the planet.

Yes the horrendous air pollution in Thailand is the also the reason we wear the masks. We were wearing them whenever outside the home long before the Coronavirus debacle. Corruption and incompetence have their consequences...

Seems like a good investment as after the virus scare has passed they can sell and promote them as protection against the toxic environment and unhealthy 2.5 PM levels they produce with their crop burning agro businesses. Pollution masks are the future. It's a win win. ????

Unless you live in the far south you'll be dead sooner anyway due to the horrendous air pollution so you actually will be saving about 10 to 20 percent by knocking years off your life expectancy! Once you add that into your calculations it's not nearly so expensive. ????

Yes luckily, strong winds from the south are blowing the smoke from the burn off towards Burma, so unless you are in the north (Chiang Rai, Mai etc.) you are getting a brief pause in the 2.5PM debacle. No thanks to the authorities however for doing absolutely nothing! ????
