Thank you yes i will use transferwise in the future , i do feel annoyed after years of bank transfer via Bangkok bank

i hit a brick wall .i will try and not loose any sleep over it .

Sorry to be going on ,this morning i decided to set up a new payment to Bangkok Bank from my online

Banking , i was told account number not recognized of the receiving payee so i have given up .

Another surprise Santander have sent me an email to say sending secure messages is now no longer available you need

to chat to a customer adviser .

Hello I tried one more time to send funds via Bangkok Bank London with out success , i have sent a secure message

via my on line banking to ask why and what do i need to do to comply with new rules and regulations .

I have had success via Santander money transfer to Thailand , all though i think this will end up more expensive in the

long run . I will let you know the out come when i get a reply .

I sent an email to Bangkok Bank London from their website , it has come back as not recognized email address ,

No surprise there , if my transfer from Santander Bank to my Bank in Thailand works out that is what i will stick with

in the future .

I have given up with Bangkok Bank i cannot be worrying if my money will arrive and i think to just refuse to accept my transfer

without explanation is out of order , I have now sent money (uk pounds) direct to my Bangkok bank account via Santander .

Their charge is £25 pounds .I have seven hundred bahts in my wallet to last until money arrives .

(i do have 800000 bahts for my visa extension but only use in a case of severe emergency )

I have sent money from Santander to Bangkok Bank London they then send to Bangkok Bank Thailand , I have done this for three years , I fill in a prefilled form from Santander with my account numbers never a problem before . Monday the money was sent as normal to Bangkok Bank London they then sent the money back to Santander the same day .I have a repeated the operation today and now wait to see what happens , it just seemed strange after three years of problem free transfers for it to have gone wrong .

Like you say may be just a hiccup , i will let you know if my latest request is a success .

I have used Bangkok Bank London to transfer money to Thailand for the last three years with out a problem ,i received an email

from my bank (Santander London) to say Bangkok Bank had sent the money i had arranged to be sent 13/july / this year back to

them .I cant see any reason for this and as i had said never ever a problem before .Has any body else encountered this problem

with Bangkok Bank London recently .

Thank you every one for your help, today i decided to visit my AIS store and i purchased a new phone , rather than me

worrying about my sim and keeping my phone number , every thing was done for me in a few minutes by a young lady so all good and happy .

Thank you for your help , i have a small sim card and the phone is not expensive so it looks like i should be ok .

I have owned my AIS lava phone for a number of years , if i buy a new AIS phone from Lazada can i just insert my sim card then just carry on using the phone as my number is registered with Ais .In other words not having to register the new phone .Simple question from a not internet savvy expat .

I have been watching Uktvplay for a number of years using a VPN , recently i have been receiving an error code (30-woo1 )  now

i cannot watch at all , has any one else experienced this problem .I have contacted them by email but no reply yet .

I did my 90 day at Udon Thani today lots of people out side looked rather chaotic , My 90 day report

was done in ten minutes .I was told wait out side the entrance , when some did their report i went

in side with a social distance not a problem , All though i made a very rapid get away as did not want

to go any where near the others mingling out side .

Thank you for your replies , It seems the only way is a six month tourist visa as mentioned in

replies , The single entry o visa is for ninty days could that be extended ?

I was thinking of returning to the Uk and visiting Thailand on a O multi entry for six months a year as

a state pensioner , i seem to be only able to find single entry ninty days .

The embassy in London requires only on line applications but i cannot for the life of me find six month

multi entry . The consulate in Hull can issue ninty days single entry after confirmation by The London embassy .

Has any one here recently been granted a six month multi entry visa , as a Uk state pensioner .

I have told her to complete with capital letters so that it can be clearly read .

Like your comments say what else can it be , My position using her address is my ex wife makes

a habbit of trying to make my life difficult and is very close to my daughter .

A few weeks back i received a form from my building society , asking for my tax status and tax ref number .I did post here and was told

to add my NI number (wich i did ) and all should be ok . Well the letter has been returned to my daughter saying the form was not filled

correctly it seems you have to use capital letters , i have since found my tax ref numbers .

I have been out of the Uk ten years , if it does go pear shaped and i have to close the account , i have know idea what i would do with

the five figure sum i have in the account as the same questions are going to be asked what ever Uk bank i am going to use .

Any body here been in this situation ? It seems big brother want to know every aspect of our lives .

I downloaded windows 8.1 as i had no choice in the matter, when i wanted to activate my VPN it said

unreachable ???? i contacted my VPN provider and they said could be a bug in windows 8.1 ???

I never had a problem with windows 8 and was not happy in down loading 8.1.

Is there any way this problem can be solved ? Thank you .
