Going to Ampoe in CM on Monday then CM imm on Tuesday for 60 day extension 

Maybe 2 trips into CM imm for the day just like last time Maybe 

Tired of waiting for any amnesty extension

Well well, well, 

Hopefully the government will remember to extend the visa amnesty up until the end of August.

That would make a lot of sense because people cant go to borders etc etc in July. as July is an emergency decree.

I know have 2 plans for just in case

My Plan, 

Wife takes daughter back to Chonburi for uni early first week of July a couple of days

When she returns we just need a Kor Ror 2 form from Ampoe 

Never needed this for multi o visa in Laos 

I know it is only 20 baht. ????

Organize ALL other docs original marriage certificate, passport, wife's id and house reg etc. 

Then go to immigration about a week before the 31st CM apply for 2 month extension.

I have never had a 2 month extension before. 

IF the government extends the amnesty possibly that would be fine to ????

Then from there consider a 1 year marriage extension via an agent to avoid Laos over a couple of years or so. 

China Beijing just recently got more Covid causes

It was for a multi o marriage visa from Savannakhet. 

I would have to stay in Vientiane for 3 days. He would send don my passport/docs to Savannkhet I have seen him do this. 

In 3 days time would receive new multi 0. 

Have had him for over 5 years. 

He also showed me passport ticket number at Savannakhet etc. 

I would always get a receipt and original docs back no problem. 

Have had him for over 5 years. 

Now charging 20000

He doesn't advertise though but usually around embassy in Vientiane.

I just didn't want to go to Savannakhet long trip from the north.

Just thinking about the not too distant future and will probably try and avoid Laos over the next couple of years or so. 

Does anyone know of a good agent in Chiang Mai mostly focusing on marriage visa/marriage extensions. 

I saw one guy on FB with pictures of married couples holding up their marriage certificates hmmmm 

I had an excellent agent in Laos but trying to avoid Laos over the next couple of years or so. 

I don't mind paying a reasonable fee to have worry free visa / extension situation done with ease.

I just feel weird not having anything official in my passport right now. 

You do feel like a legal overstayer but it is just strange. 

I have always had visas all the time 

Just feels weird now being about 1 month over my last multi o stamp in early May

But will go to CM imm near on or just after July 31st once they work that out and get a 2 month extension for now.

Just clarifying my situation for this 

I am on a multi o visa was due to depart for Laos on 08 05 of 2020 

On last 90 day stamp.

Would usually depart a day earlier 

But now sit on bum in the house as my wife says up until 31st of July. 

Then go to imm and get a 60 day extension based on marriage

I have not had a 60 day extension as yet.

I am in similar situation as the OP 

I usually go for a Multi O based on marriage in Laos as a 1 year and 3 months annual holiday but that is porked now with the border closings. 

I have read a lot about the 60 day extension regarding marriage. 

I am on my last 90 day hit ending in the late first week of MAY

I am aware you have to take your wife into immigration as well. 

Firstly how much is the extension for 60 days based on marriage?

Secondly what are the required documents necessary for the extension 

As a recap some listing some docs but not other docs. 

Are they asking for any Travel/Corona insurance?

I am use to the multi o visa application docs. 

Are there any strange docs that I don't or may not know about. 

If Laos is better near 2 month extension ending then would go to Laos as usual if not usual then apply for a 1 year extension based on marriage via monthly income.

Will be going to CM immigration with wife wearing plastic gloves, a mask and face protector. 

After what he said I didn't want to be a farang buffalo so I took a 3m proper mask and alcohol hand cleaner up to do a border run at MaiSai on Sunday for multi no imm o. 

They still make you take off the mask for the photo going out and coming back in 

What good is that .

It was pretty quiet up there. Not many tourists at all mostly Burmese and some westerners wearing and not wearing masks.

I also asked imm to clean the hand scanner at going out and coming in to Thailand. 

If he is so concerned about farangs NOT wearing masks then he should make imm allow people to go through imm wearing a mask without having to take it off. 

I was at the border today Maisai. 

It was the only risky place I had to go lots of people

Took an M3 mask and alcohol hand cleaner. 

The point is immigration still asks you to take the mask off for the photo.

I saw a few westerners not wearing and wearing masks. 

They had hand cleaner and I asked imm to clean the hand scanner too

Mostly Burmese crossing from Myanmar

Cleaned my hands with alcohol hand cleaner before I got into our car.

If its yellow let it mellow, if its brown flush it down ????

He couldn't get any 2.5 masks all the Chinese tourists have bought them all up and flogging them online for insane prices back in China. 

I went to my local pharmacy just next door the other day absolutely sold out of 2.5 masks just the crappy 3 baht masks . 

Today they just got a few 2.5 masks in and different sizes of hand cleaner

A friend of mine in Japan noticed on Amazon that there was a huge price hike on masks just this week compared to a a couple of wees ago.

Remember last year the same time 

The government swore that light many bundles of large incense sticks was the cause of the air pollution at the time 

They suggested to get smaller sticks 5555 ????

Ban all burning of incense sticks and letting off firecrackers

It is probably more like the escape plan if it say all goes to hell give or take some years. 

Escaping a country in style in a sub and not through via a driver into Cambodia. 

Or if they really wanted to purchase more military equipment why not some Sea Harriers to truly compliment the aircraft carrier I wonder though if it would take 2 years to train the pilots.  I have only seen that aircraft carrier used once since I have been hear. The large severe storm down south
