Faced with choosing justice in Thailand or the UK, the Mulhares opted for extradition to Britain. Their convictions—15 years for Joseph and 12 for Gregory—brought an end to their criminal reign, capturing public attention.

I think this is the first arrest I've seen in Thailand where the people arrested faces could been seen.

Secondly if they were arrested in Thailand, why do the get the choice of where they'll go to jail?

I guess he didn't watch enough Breaking Bad to realize you need to have what appears to be a Normal life.

  2. I wish I could help. As a long haul truck driver for 40 years, coffee is my beverage of choice. Sadly though I've had such crap coffee through out the years that I think my taste bud ruined. So now If it tastes like coffee I'm happy good luck with your search.

Almost every time I try to use my UK card in Thailand it's flagged as fraudulent and blocked

Does the UK credit card companies not have a system in place the you can either call them or go online when you're in the UK to tell them you will be in Thailand or wherever you go so they can put a travel notice on your card(s)?

If they do and you did, I would find a card that's more customer friendly. I had to stop using my Canadian TD Trust Credit Card because they were the only card I have issues with in Thailand.

Why would they want to be part of your screwed-up health and education systems?

As a Canadian I hope you're not implying that our health care is better than the USA or our educational system is better. Free health care is great until you need it. Don't get me started on what passes for a education these days.

And I'm speaking for myself when I say that I'm pretty sure the majority of Canadians don't want to be the 51 US state, but I will say proudly that as a Canadian citizen I support President Trump and still do even if the Tariffs are put on. He's doing what every world leader should be doing and that is putting his countries interest 1st.

If you used a dating app to book a 15-year-old that claimed she was 18 who's fault would it be?

    Hers for lying

I totally get that answer but in this day and age of internet security and scams, I would've hoped the online dating apps would have to have a system in place to at the very least verify a person age. Therefore the online application should be held accountable.

  7. Quitting smoking was the hardest thing I ever did. It took serval years and many packs of smokes that got tossed in the bin, but the main take away was I didn't quit trying to quit.

BTW I did the nicorette gum, the hypnosis and nothing worked. It boils down to how badly do you want to quit.

As I said it was the hardest thing I've ever done but well worth it. And yes I am one of the ex-smokers that absolutely can't stand being around smokers.

    Best of luck.

Thailand is like sponge cake. It is nice but no depth to it like mud cake. I need to find a mud cake country.

Below the icing sugar what is there? Just sponge.

Asking for a friend. Where are you from? Curious to know why you left.

Maybe not.   If like me, who at the age of 20, could go three days without shaving, in Army Basic Training, without being told by a drill sargent to shave dry out in the field!  In advanced training back then, I could go four days without shaving, the inspections being less intense.

Even today, it would take me four days to grow hair on my face, the same length as some do in one day.

In Basic Training, there was one guy that was made to dry shave his face every morning between 10 and 11 am, with what looked like a 1 or 2 day old beard, sometimes having to shave in the afternoon too, even though he claimed he shaved that morning.   After a week of this, his drill sargent showed up in the shower room to watch him shave and then checked him out at 10 am.   Afterwards he was still required to shave in the morning and afternoon, but was allowed to use water when shaving!

In the military I can understand, but I simply got tired of the money I spent on shaving and electric razor for me where a total waste. But to reach his own as I got to the age when people tell me I look like Santa or some character from Lord of the rings the movie I've never seen I just shrug and carry on with my day. But truthfully I get more 👍 then disapproving comments and besides if my wife don't mind what else matters.

OPPO Find X8 Pro and VIVO X200 Pro are possibly cheaper and possibly better camera phones. OPPO claims to use Hasselblad tech if I remember correctly. VIVO, Zeiss.

I'm actually added both those devices to the list of potential purchases. I'm really liking the reviews I watched on the OPPO, but my wife told me she had an Oppo that only lasted 1 year. That was a while ago so I'm hoping they've improved the quality. Thanks.

  11. I use My midrange Price Android to shoot all my YouTube content. Started with Huawei Mate 9 when they still had Google. Switched to RealMe X2 Pro which is what I using right this second.

Wait a minute. Maybe that's why my channel sucks😂 no it's because others are doing way better content on my niche and I'm cursed with a monotone voice which even it's me to sleep.

I'm really looking hard at the New Honor Magic 7 Pro but it's not a midrange blower it's considered a flagship.

Sounds more like booking a hotel room on Agoda

I've used Agoda many times traveling around Thailand and Vietnam since 2017 without issues except for the very last booking I did in Thailand. What amazed about this hotel was that it was listed as an Agoda recommended property. It was a dump. I'm guessing Agoda doesn't send out reps to check properties out. Yes it was a 3 star hotel and the price was reasonable. But they need to update the photos because it certainly did represent what we saw. Staff was okay for the most part but this property has been so neglected over the years that it now just needs a Bulldozer.
