  1. Why countries not seeing herd immunity? Getting the vaccine doesn't make you immune, and mostly doesn't stop transmission of the virus. The vaccine mostly just reduces your chance of dying if you get COVID while vaccinated.
  2. Don't move, they are inside your belongings, and moving will only spread it to another building and to other people (and you'll be back to where you started once they reproduce there). You need to research, research, research. Work with a professional (if you research, you'll be able to know if the exterminator knows what he's doing). Work with the landlord as well—this is or could be a problem for other apartments. If you can work with him, this is good for himself and the other tenants. The problem needs to be eradicated in all apartments for it to work. If you just found one bug, then you identified the problem early on. This is good. Now you just need to make sure you nip the problem while it's just starting.
  3. You need to contact a professional. If you have itchy bites. Probably bedbugs. However, not everyone reacts to bedbug bites. Some have no reaction. Find lives bugs, get better pictures and post in a bed bug forum/community. If positive ID, again, contact a professional. Bedbugs are extremely difficult to get rid of.
  4. Doing that is the classic worst thing to do. There will be bedbugs in all of his belongings. It will only bring the bedbug infestation to another building. Will be back to the same problem in a few weeks.
  5. I'm not sure what you're saying. Spending 20 minutes making a scene and fighting with staff to have them get the manager, for ฿20... ? That's dignity?
  6. If you want to fight teeth and nails get back 20฿, that's not "having integrity." That's having no self-respect, for yourself and for your own time.
  7. In other words, how to be a Karen in Thailand. ???? jk But in the end, if the thing you're fighting for is worth 20฿, is it worth making a whole scene, and make everyone lose face, especially yourself (and also all foreigners)?
  8. To clarify: "foreigners" doesn't mean around 1000 European-descent foreigners owning land. "Foreigners" also means a flood of Chinese people owning land, in large numbers.
  9. Sending that information to embassies would be a good idea. And while we can't do that much knowing that our info was compromised, at least that can allow us to be on the lookout for identify theft, false documents being given to your bank, turning on 2FA on accounts, etc.... (or even change your passport.)
  10. Yeah, but I mean, it's not about precise numbers. Even if you take into consideration repeat visitors, then maybe there's now a 40% chance you and I are in the leak, and a 60% chance we aren't... so it's exactly a situation where we would want to know if your passport and other personal have been leaked.
  11. But the OP was talking about people on the forum asking about visa info and things like that, and getting answers such as: I would say there are a lot of pro-Trump, and conspiracy theorists having waaay too much time on their hands, researching conspiracy theories for half the day, and then coming here on TVF and seeing every thread/post in a similar way.
  12. There have been more than 106 million travellers in Thailand, especially in 10 years. Before COVID, there were 30-40 million per year. So there's around a 1/3 chance that we are on there.
  13. Only some hand sanitizers are made using ethyl alcohol. Probably around 1/2 are made using isopropyl alcohol (toxic when ingested)—and sometimes some made with methyl alcohol (extremely toxic when ingested).
  14. Most numbers coming out of India are unreliable—they were completely overwhelmed and their medical infrastructure is partly non-existent.
  15. OMG, I know. Never complained about price. ???? Was just answering your question and saying why I initially created the thread.
  16. Chill, dude. I was just replying to his question. ????
  17. Reason is, like said in the OP, the Lazada "Apple Flashship" one is 18,100฿ compared to 25,900฿ directly from Apple.
  18. The iPhone 12 Mini (64GB) sells for 18,100฿ on Lazada. The store name is "Apple," which has a "LazMall Flagship Store" badge. However, when you go the the seller page, it's written "Authorized Reseller" at the top. The prices are surprising. On the official Apple store, the 64GB iPhone 12 Mini sells for 25,900฿. That's a full 7,800฿ difference! The line "if it's too good to be true, it probably is" comes to mind. Does anyone know if the "Apple" store on Lazada actually is Apple?
