  1. I thought Thailand was to be the smarter one, hence the reason why this is the only country that refuse WHO - COVAX program... It Looks so good right now, with about all countries around us including Myanmar, CAmbodia, Malaysia, Indonesia doing way, way better then us (even LAos doing better by capita!!!)...
actually, its easier to point the one behing us.. Vietnam...PApua New Guinea...

  2. Personally, I would not use discounted card for accommodation as I can afford and should let peoples that really need it to use and benefit. If somebody abuse it, well, it's with their conscience, at the end you take it for someone who really need it. However, I found it very insulting that, as a tax payer for several decades, I am still treated with segregationist policies in the first place and the current attempt is like pouring salt on the wound. Worst is the dual pricing that has been on for years and which is the ultimate insults. So, to the government, ................!!

  3. Criticize when it should, but also approve when needed. And as the picture shows he applies the health recommendations that everyone should follow, to himself,. This is a sharp contrast comparing to a particular self declared "stable genius", leader also of self declared Free World....

This only for people actually diagnosed as having the virus, after being actually tested, which is not a true figure.

like everywhere in the world... how can you do otherwise???

Test all the people who dye, then make an autopsy to determine if Covid 19 was the reasons of their death???

The true figures everywhere in the world will be known several months after this pandemic is over, so be prepared for a long wait but it will also come with serology test that will show how much it was spread.

  5. How this statistic works???? if you test only the ones that have strong symptoms, and then calculate death ratio this way, it will always give you high % comparing to other places where tests were done on vast amount of the population where most were not exhibiting any symptoms.

That way you catch the the ones infected that will not exhibit much symptom, hence your ratio is completely different.

Then if you calculate death ratio taking only the one already in intensive care, figure will be a lot worst.

May be it is time to learn how to compare what is comparable and learn how to make interpretation when ground for testing are so, so different.

Then, where this Italian strain comes from??? A Thai discovery????

  6. Also self inflicted wounds when a minister target Farang for not wearing mask.

1st, its a xenophobic remark because it target farang only, and not everyone including Thais.

2nd, and more important, if wearing mask is compulsory, waooo, it means the virus is wide spread.. very re-assuring and will for sure be a big boost for the inbound of tourist.

As a matter or fact, being involved in tourism business, we just had huge cancellation on Bangkok arrivals (approx. 500 pax this month) and our agent directly pointed out this very smart and wise remark by the minister. How smart was it.

Can anyone take a responsibility for this??

  7. The only problem here is that you are not suppose to get all of this but your landlord should.

So while I have experienced a similar experience which make my life much easier now and I thanks the officer at the immigration for their help, isn't it the responsibility of your landlord to declare your arrival, all of course for security reason and the national interest. So now you can register whoever you want at your landlord property. Is this in the spirit of the TM30???

But of course, I am not complaining about this, just questioning the process and the reason given by authority justifying the existence of the TM30

    Yes.

This will vary by region. In Bangkok it has taken people I know between 3 days and as long as 5 weeks.

It's been more than a month our application was changed to successful. Still waiting for login and password. Went to Chieng Wattana, they said it takes like 2 weeks. I indicate it's been 30 days already and show them screen capture to prove. They say wait 2 more weeks.. Looks like a 2 weeks forever wait then...

  9. Tried that few weeks back, did not work so far with no feed back. Could not wait so went to Chiang Watana.  Requirements are not what is indicated on web site... (see pictures attached)

By the way, also registered online more than 2 months back, 3 weeks ago I noticed my application was approved.. Then, till now, no credential received..

At Chien Watana I was told it takes one month to process TM30 by post, and not more than 2 weeks to get login credential for the online version, once the status is approved. Well this was 3 weeks ago.....????

  10. I am facing the same situation and after 2 weeks of status approved, still no email with login and password. Last week I was in Chiang Wattana and asked if they were something wrong. I was told the system will send me automatically the login and password, but I have to wait 2-3 weeks..

Automatically??? 2-3 weeks.. seems to be an automatic manual procedure to me.. What a non sense..

Anyway, 2 weeks have gone so I guess I have to wait one me week, or whatever...
