...2007 Ford Everest here in Thailand.
I have a Thai friend who made me second guess myself, because he said he wasn't sure Ford was good here in Thailand. He thought that parts may be very expensive to fix it when it breaks down.
Have any of you owned a Ford or do you have any input?
Not an Everest but a couple of Rangers which I liked very much, have used them off-road and on and find them a good solid vehicle. Servicing not expensive but not a "luxury" 7 seater by any means.
Unless there is no Ford dealer within your local area parts/servicing should not be expensive as the Everest is built in Thailand, just East of Pattaya (also in Vietnam).
For the type of vehicle you are looking for within that price range personally I would only get a Toyota Sport Rider (Variant of the Hilux model) you could buy the best seen 4x4/AT and still have some budget spare.
With the spare cash you could get a respray or interior upgrade and have a better make than a Ford in better condition for the same money - no brainer really IMHO.

Before asking here have you established that you can buy all the bulk/basis ingredients locally?
You might have to establish what suppliers the Sofitel uses and see if you can piggy-back on their deliveries from BBK rather than find a "new" food wholesaler.
To "test" the idae of Greek Food in Hua Hin you might best try some market research on a market night from a grab and go stall, so choose something Greek but portable. If you give food away everyone will told you they love it, if you charge the rate required to make a profit you will get an honest answer.
When people run "restaurants" they often get fixated on the idea and menu that THEY like and go out of business because the local population do not sync up perfectly with that model - the disparity results in a slow death and closure.
So first establish if the idea of Greek food sells to tourists and locals (Thai and farang) way before you go to a bricks & mortar outlet but when you do - run two modes of operation. Morning through to 6pm run as a breakfast come coffee shop selling great Greek coffee (etc) and the small sweet Baklava etc Have WiFi and home made ice creams, milkshakes etc - you make more money from drinks than any moussaka and chips!

Map to define the exact ruling ?

Any reporter or reposter with half an IQ putting this on a web-site would have found out where these zones are and produced a map - even a rough one.
This story is half baked.

Haven't we done this subject before?

Copyright infringement also applies to viewing programme content outside the GEOGRAPHICAL region for which the rights have been agreed/paid.
So any law abiding person should not partake in this thread, the rouse that one can mention torrent sites by name and link to them but not direct;y to torrents carrying programme content seems a thin line itself.
But again torrents work fine for the millions around the world that can apply common sense to the interface between screen and that clicky index finger that likes to click everything that appears on the screen.
Having just watched the latest The Walking Dead on-line I appear to still be devoid of infection (oh the irony) and spam, but then I do have some IT skills.
For those that don't either learn or simply avoid the remotest risk of infection - and stay out of these threads, they are too dangerous for you.

Engage brain before engaging gear - you will be fine.
Just look more than you talk and you learn how the locals drive - and what driving laws apply in what situation.

I remember the days I could walk back to my hotel the length of Beach Road without any such problem - not been in Pattaya for years.

Apply your same paranoid logic to driving and you would not leave you house.
Torrenting is perfectly safe for those people that think before they click.
If you can't do that then the internet is not for you either.

A couple of months from when?

But I'm more than a bit leary these days of downloading onto my PCs large files that contain who knows what and originate with who knows whom.
I have too much serious stuff on my PCs, so I prefer not to take those risks and potentially muck up one of my machines.
At least you have identified yourself that you do not have the computer skill-set to tell good from bad.

Seems a pity to kill a harmless rat snake.
But makes prefect sense if you are on the spot and do not know if the snake that you are facing is a direct threat to your family and loved ones being pets or people.
The down side of not removing such a threat can be serious medical treatment and possibly death simply because an elderly of young person did not see/aware that they were "encroaching" on an area where a "bad" snake had suddenly chosen to lay eggs or shed it's skin.
I am happy to take guidance from our village locals as to what snakes are "good" and can be moved on because they eat vermin and which are "kill on sight".
You are not in Kansas any more, and it is deeper that just if the snake is a known to be venomous or not but also the time to get to a hospital that can treat a bite, some rural situations are not ideally placed for Western levels of health care.
The best place to observe and practice Western/farang values is the West/farang-land..

I use Liquid Skin (also branded as New Skin) from my days windsurfing, stings bad when applied but worth it.
My limited searches of Thai web-sites throw up lots of Beauty sites, so the association with "skin" in this situation is out of context.
I see that there are correctly related hits with the brand "Dermabond-Advanced" so this brand has Thai market penetration.
I would suggest Fascino Pharmacy and the like.

Why do they ALL look the same?

This is a good link for ABC, you will see the other channels offered, most work - some do not due to copyright holder action.
The site is TOTALLY driven by adverts - if you do not ENGAGE brain before visiting the site you will get more spam crap on your PC than you want.
I STRONGLY suggest that you install an ad blocker and LEARN not to blindly click on every pop-up that appears - and also not believe every message that suggests a new codec is required.
Some people will not understand this - then using such services is not for you - or seek some 1 on 1 guidance from someone more internet aware than you are.
Otherwise the site is 100% safe and I use it frequently.
Don't be stupid on-line.

Maybe merge with the toilet paper thread?

Sometimes the old ways were the best ways.
The advantage of a Trafficator was that as well as the light the movement stood out.
Seems that there is a design idea here but not yet selling them.

Cars give way to bikes motorised or not.
From the info given she appears to be driving without adequate awareness of other road users.
TIT so extra road sense is required even if she was indicating etc
RIP young man whatever the situation you did not deserver to die like this.

Technically off topic - but unless there has been a recent law changes farangs can own the house - just NOT the land on which it is built.
As for the attitude of the bank staff that is obvious - they seek their commission and the easiest way to achieve that is a simple no nonsense house purchase in the Thai national's name.
What happens if they split up or one party goes away or dies is not important as far as the banks and the employee's commission is concerned at each step the bank/employee gets a cut.
Just because someone on has a "senior" title does not mean they know detail about "their" subject.

The "Citizen" would need to have known about the value and potential nature of the crime and have been close enough to have watched in detail as the transfer took place.Acting on a tip-off from a good citizen, police yesterday arrested a 59-year-old Canadian for smuggling coral into Thailand.
Quite a feat for an average random person, the cynical part of me wonders if it was a local competitor that was simply removing competition in business when they saw an opportunity to do so.
The Canadian's mistake was being so brazen and not making the effort to put the coral in bags/boxes before moving them.

What about giving it to poor kids instead of selling ?
They will know where to sell it !

In Central (KK) a few months ago my wife bought a boxed movie from a "shop" there, just before we left I looked at her choice of titles and slightly berated her for buying a Blu-Ray disk, we don't have a Blu-ray player. Back to the counter (with intent to swap for DVD/VCD)....
"...oh it's OK" said the assistant "...that just means it was copied from a Blu-Ray disk originally!"
...so no problems.
I was told recently that 25% of all data flowing across he internet is bittorrent traffic.
