Most if not all of the provincial DTP's that issue Thai Driver's Permits, require a Certificate of Residence from non-Thais as proof of their official address in the province where the DTP is located.  Such CoR can be obtained - usually at no cost - at the local Imm Office that issued your Non Imm O Visa/extension.

    Usually mine cost 500 baht🤪

The water guns make tissue in the toilets unnecessary.  What surprises me now is the dinner table tissue dispenser in the toilet.

Better though, otherwise you end up with a wet boxer short at your chair🤪

Whatever is going around doesn't seem to be confined to Thailand. I was in France from December to February and lots of people there had exactly the symptoms described. The most striking difference with regular, seasonal colds was the time it lasted for everyone, several weeks. Even my dad, who is usually the type who never gets sick, couldn't completely get rid of it for nearly 2 months. And my brother who is in London told me it was the same there with everybody coughing at the office…

I left Thailand half February and got sick after a visit a Mor Lam performance. All family members got sick with symtoms of fever headakes coffing lots of slyme running nose etc. At home in The Netherlands I Am still have coffing and running nose.

In my neck of the woods, one goes to a town centre clinIc, and tells the receptionist whats wanted, She fills in a form, wanders into the Doctors offfice for a few seconds and then provides a signed form stating you have good health for ........50baht!!

WHAT A FARCE/................LIKE SO MUCH IN THAILAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the docter fills in at blood pressure values? Every docter knows this medical document costs 100 bht, 3 years ago it was 50 bht.

My wife and I have several accounts at different banks but recently we opened a new joint account at a bank where we each already have individual accounts. As others have said, it was like starting all over again. Even though we have already had accounts with them for over a decade, they insisted on address verification etc. Bizarrely, I used a credit card statement from them as proof of my address and they accepted it!

Why open a joint account. No ATM card and one died you need a court/judge to get the money. And can take months before approval.

You will need to show 400k in the bank for 2 months prior to application for extension for first and all subsequent extensions.

Best to maintain the 400k until you receive final stamp after under consideration period.

Here is link with reference to Nonthanburi.

I vaguely recall that office requiring you to have a witness.

Seems strange. Hopefully someone that deals with that office can advise.

Also think they require 2 copies of docs.

    https://aseannow.com/topic/1301780-what-is-a-letter-certifying-that-i-am-‘a-member-of-the-referred-family’/

In Chaiyaphum also 2 copies but you go home with a lot of spares for next year, not surprising in Thailand😂. They changed also the demand of pictures. 4 pieces instead of 3 and mandatory one on the front with the address board and a view with the roof of the house visible. Try this with your mobile and the address board is not readable anymore.

    Solution: use panorama view.

fake boobs, lips, bottoms, ladies, boss, hillfinger, paco rabane, love,...Whatis genuine in Thailand?

Like a chainsaw of Stihll from 1500 baht (counterfeit) to 7000 baht (brand). But in Lazada is this covered in small characters and hard to find🧐

No poll of 100 people could ever be taken seriously. And what were the questions, how leading were the questions, how scientific were the questions, which agency did the polling? how credible are their results?

There are so many unanswered questions one has to just shake their head and say what a bunch of nonsense this is.

Indeed, the number of participants is that low the results can be completely different every week🧐

  10. I bought a Sharp in the past good suction but the the motor temperature controller failed. Result a molten motor support around the motor suction inlet. I made a new one of silicon rubber and now I run only 5 minutes on the lowest speed, I am afraid it gets on fire😂. You do not want to see a running vacuum cleaner catch fire, looks like a jet motor.

  11. I have to buy 2 airco units. One for living room and one for bed room.

For a good calculation one need to know the general insulation status of the room, like glas surface, wall material and ceiling insulation.

Living room is 4x8x2.6 mtr, ceiling insulated with 150 mm rockwool+alu foil, long wall outside no sun next to carport with 2 windows single darkend glass pane 4square mtr. Short wall a litlle sun in evening with single glass sliding door 8 square mtr. Other walls bedrooms and kitchen.

Bedroom is 4x4 mtr ceiling insulated with 150 mm rockwool+alu foil, 1 wall litll sun in evening with 1 window single darkend glass pane 2 square mtr. Other wall No sun with 1 window single darkend glass pane 2 square mtr. Other walls inside.

All walls are Q-block 8 cm double plastered.

Please can someone advice me about the nessecary BTU's?

And if possible the used calculations to help me in future?

    Great Thanks in Advance

The reason we left Thailand in 2019 after nearly 9 years was due to uncertainty (changing rules on a whim with very little warning). The ever hanging threat of compolsory health insurance hanging over my head, the 400/800k being kept in a Thai bank etc. I learnt very early on I could buy a very nice suv, several big bikes as my health insurance which I could sell if needed (I never needed to). I reached an age that having to start again due to a change in circumstances was a risk I could not take. Best move we ever made returning to the UK. Children are very happy, education far better and free and even though the national health service is free my wife and children all have private health care for about 2,500  baht (£65) a month, compare that to Thai health insurance!!! A very wise man told me "Never invest more in Thailand than you can afford to walk away from". Yes I still have a house in Thailand, yes I still love Thailand and we just had a wonderful holiday there but we will never ever live there again.

I have made the same conclusion as you and almost the same reasons.

As noted earlier, these are the chaps you need https://www.lazada.co.th/products/gtl-16-gtl-25-gtl-35-gtl-10-compression-copper-aluminum-cu-al-tube-bimetallic-crimp-terminal-cable-wire-connector-splice-sleeve-i4435668268-s17778761147.html? along with the correct crimp tool.

Complete the job with adhesive-lined heatshrink and you're good for many years.

Thanks, this will be the best solution but now a suitable krimp tool could be the problem. Need only one time. I will look how much this will cost
