  1. The nicest and cleanest I’ve ever seen jomtien beach look was during the lockdown when all the vendors had to remove their chairs and they were no where in sight. Get rid of all of them. I’m down on that beach most days and the chair operators really are a lo-so bunch of people. Nasty attitudes, scowls and downright harassing people just for sitting down on the walk promenade in their so called area. Garbage is everywhere on the beach. I purposely put myself in these situations and mingle with the street people. It’s how I know what’s going on.

Headed to Portland?  Or Seattle?  Or maybe Minneapolis?  Perhaps London?  Or Southern California...

There's desperate people all over the world.

This is the exact response I knew I was going to get. Refusing to acknowledge the problem in Pattaya/Jomtien and just point your finger at western culture and say look.  Thai apologists at their finest.

  3. Jomtien beach needs to be cleared out as well. Mentally ill drug addicts and homeless are everywhere on the beach, the cops were down there a few days ago poking a thai laying drunk in the sand to make sure he was still alive. Didn’t move for about 10 minutes, he looked dead but they got some reaction from him and let him be. thais have really shown their true selves to me during the last 4 months. Never seen such an angry bitter side to them as many are struggling to make ends meet and easy to blame the foreigners. The scowls are there everyday, it’s something in their eyes that’s hard to explain but I recognize it immediately when I see it. I’m leaving soon and will never return.

And i would suggest that in the future Thailand will be a much safer, happier and prosperous than western countries.  I have 2 young sons and i would like them to grow up in Thailand as it is now, sure has its problems, but it has unity, self pride and is family orientated,  all these things half baked marxist terrorists have destroyed in western countries.  If you want gay pride and all black felon sports leagues that's fine, go back to your western country.  If not i suggest you quit self loathing, stop regurgitating all the isms and obias from western media and get on with your life.  Cos i'm sick of social equality homos, especially in context with how bad western countries are becoming, social justic warriors are dangerous and should be removed from the country.

You can’t even stay on topic at all. You’re only response is to attack western society. I would respond further but I feel like you are an unwell and angry person.

  5. Do you mind naming the school you used to apply with? There’s a purported blacklist of language schools at some consulates. One school in particular has had a few people start threads on here saying they were denied. Just wondering if you used that same school. The blacklist was posted on here about three months ago in a thread, it was deleted but I took a screenshot of it.

  6. ED visa takes 3-4 weeks to get back the approval from ministry of education so it wouldn’t be asap and I think with your prior history of two ED visas already and 90% of the last three years spent in Thailand would up your chances of being rejected. You would also need to be able to speak Thai decently to the IO because you have a previous ED visa for Thai language and they will ask you to speak Thai. There are some schools in certain provinces that make deals with immigration to get you an ED visa without leaving the country,  but it costs more and you still need the approval from ministry of education.

Ok thanks, looking into it. I guess overland is more sure than flying in and out right? Or can i just fly to say Hanoi and get an exemption on my way back without raising eyrbrows at DMK?

Overland does seem to be the better option these days. You could fly to Hanoi and come back but I believe you’re taking a chance at DMK for re-entry. When the IO sees the ED visa in your passport they will give you an impromptu quiz on your Thai language ability. They’ve done it to me in the past. Myanmar also doesn’t put a visa sticker in your passport, just a stamp in and out, so you save a page in your passport.
