So you have to pay an extra 500 baht to book an appointment online? What a ripoff. They don't mention any additional fees on the big sign next to the queue ticket counter.
Visa fee: 1,900 THBService fee as following:• Regular Service fee: 500 THB to get your E-Extension decision within the next 7 business days.
• Express Service fee: 1,500 THB to get your E-Extension decision within the next 3 business days.• Super urgent service fee: 5,000 THB *You can also apply for a super urgent service, to get your E-Extension decision within the next day (only business day).

So what's the point of the online E-extension thing then? Don't you get a queue number once you do it online?
They have a huge sign next to the queue desk that it's a quicker way of getting an extension. I think the steps were:
1. Upload documents
2. Pay the fee online - anyone know if you can pay the 1,900 baht by a credit card???
3. I forgot what the last step was on the sign.
3. Go to immigration and get the stamp in passport. So you still have to go to immigration, what is the point? :)
The total fee is 1900 + 500 thb....and you can use credit card. And it looks like you can't E-extend retirement visa?

If you book an appointment time online in advance, do you still have to go to the ticket queue, or go direct to the desk?
It feels unclear to me. Have to do my extension in January.btw, great report by the OP. 👍

It's possible that they may want to get people registered under the new TM30 system? The most efficient way to do that at some point will be to reject 90-day reports that don't have an updated TM30.
Agree, that was my other thought.
OP was only registered in the old system. -

Because your post was incorrect.
Read 2.2 of the OP in this thread

Ok, now you finally make sense. :)
I still think it might be the problem, what else can it be? -

Because your post was incorrect.
Why not let the OP answer him self, maybe it was the case?
...and explain what is incorrect and just don't say "No".!
DrJack54, you are always so rude and toxic in your answers.
We all miss ubonjoe in this forum, he was always so nice and polite. -

I filed online my 2nd 90 day report; however, I got the email respone that my report was rejected and I should update my TM30. I report to Bangkok Chaeng Wattana.
I have not changed my address for 10 years, and I have not left the country since my last 90 day report.
Any ideas why they are requiring an updated TM 30 ?
Did you travel in Thailand and stayed at a hotel? Then they probably did a TM30 there. If so, you have to do another one back to your home address. -
It always works fine for me.
Never a problem and very friendly staff. -

It is the same in Sweden.
I did my 90 day non-o in Sweden and it required healt insurance.
I used my home insurance for that.
If you apply for a non-o in Thailand, no healt insurance is required.-

I did go Thai airways fast track two weeks ago.
You turn right and have to go like 800 meters for the normal immigration and go in from "wrong" side to reach the Re-entry desk.
It is doable but if not too much people I would go the normal way.-

You can always start over, I did that one time.
Tourist visa on arrival >> Non-O 90 days >> 12 month extension.-

I did my Non-O retirement online late last year, and they need proof of insurance.
I am Swedish to and they did accept my Folksam home insurance.
Just ask your home insurance company for a pdf to attach to your application.edit: but if you apply in Thailand you don't need insurance.

I did my extension at Jomtien in January and did not get that report request.

Didn't realise you just get a piece of paper now instead of a visa in your passport ????.
You will get the visa stamp in your passport when you arrive at airport immigration.
Just show them your paper.-

But this is kind of funny.
Door man say "put on mask" in a very angry way!
The "kind" officer I met had NO mask on, and coughed frequently. ????
Anyways, I was in and out in 20 minutes. New record! ???? -
Immigration web site...click "Online appointment" ????

90 days report will be due on 5th January 2024
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

No need for a bankbook on a 90 day report.
It is only an address report and have nothing to do with financials.
