Honestly im clueless. And I always thought that the Thailand entry requirements was the test has to be TAKEN within 72hrs of the flight, but if this is the case I think I'll schedule my test for the 6th then, because I don't want to get screwed over by the turnaround time being more than 2 days. The airline I'm using is American Airlines to fly from Virginia to Texas, and then Qatar Airways for Texas to Doha, and Doha to BKK. Can you help?

I'm in the US. Flying to BKK on November 9th and need my PCR test 72hrs or less before my first flight. What are the recommended places to get the test? I have scheduled an appointment at CVS but I am not sure of the turnaround time, it says it varies. On Walgreens I saw it even said results can't be guaranteed in time for flights.

Hi @ubonjoemy visa just got approved today. Will I be asked for onward ticket proof by anyone? I assume not because I have a tourist visa now, but just wanting to make sure so I don't get screwed at the airport Also, on my tourist visa my name is listed as "Last name, first name, middle name" format, is this normal?

Yeah, I know you can pay like $15 more or whatever the fee is to make the ticket last 2 weeks. But in your experience helping people with visas and the onward ticket problems, do you think my 48 hour ticket from one of those onward travel websites would work with the thai embassy as proof of onward travel? Or would I get denied?

I submitted my application for my tourist visa a few days ago on the thaievisa website, using the DC embassy. Today I got an email: Dear Applicant, Pls submit the following docs through [email protected] 1. copy of flight confirmation, leaving from Thailand *Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email. Best wishes, E-Visa Team I am on a one way ticket to BKK. I will just buy a one way showing from BKK to anywhere, basically. Am I meant to just send an email to [email protected] or am I meant to edit my application? Because I'm on the application website, and can't figure out how to edit my application since I already paid and submitted it. @ubonjoe

Just submitted. I could not upload a folder full of pictures like you said, it would only allow one pic, so I posted the picture of my visa page with my last visit in Thailand. How long does it typically take for DC embassy to finish processing the visa online? Also, I'm flying Nov 9, when do you suggest i apply for coe? Also, if my visa gets accepted, what do I do after that? Because there will be no stamp in my passport, idk how this online system works.

There isn't an option to upload multiple pictures, only 1. So you think I should just upload the page where I was stamped out leaving in 2019? Also, for accomodation proof I am using the place called "Teak Villa Bangkok" off of booking.com. It says its a one bedroom apartment. On the visa application, should I select that I'm staying in a Dormitory, Hotel or Private Property? There's no option for "apartment".

Quick question on my tourist visa application. 8 . Applicant is required to upload his/her passport pages which contain all travel records for the past 12 months (1 year) since the last international trip. If I haven't traveled in the past 12 months, do I just not upload anything here? This is what I think, but I'm not sure and dont wanna mess it up Edit: It won't even let me submit the application unless I upload something, so I don't know what to post exactly. I just uploaded 2 blank visa pages, but I highly doubt that's the correct thing to do. Help please

When can I extend my visa?
noodleslayer replied to noodleslayer's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yeah thats the point of my question, I recall seeing people say something like during the last 30 days of your stay you should extend it, but I am not sure 100%. -
Quick question, if I come on a visa exemption that is 45 days, when can I go to immigration to extend it? Can I do it right after I get out of ASQ, or do I have to wait until I have a certain amount of days left? Also, if I come on a tourist visa that is 60 days, when can I go to immigration to extend it?

I'm about to enter Bangkok on November 11th, and will want to enroll in a language school around December. I want one of the 6+ month courses that can provide me with an ED visa. What are some good schools that I should consider enrolling in to learn Thai?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EALLNBU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1 This is the bag I'm looking at, I have the 28 inch checked version of it and like it, but would this 20 inch version be too big to use on flights while in Thailand? For example flying from Thailand to Vietnam, or Bangkok to Chiang Mai, etc. Dimensions are 23.0" x 14.5" x 9.5" (linear 47 inches). I have no idea how strict airlines in Thailand are about this so thats why I'm making this topic. If it is too big, then what are the maximum dimensions I should be getting in a carryon bag?
