  1. I am 100% sure Chase is mine. I trust my wife and you can tell he is a mixed baby. My wife never dated a Farang before and I was with her 100% of the time when Chase was conceived. The embassy did not ask for a DNA test also, they felt the same after questioning my wife.

If is to count back to see if you where there when she was Ovulating. It around 14 days after her period starts. I know my wife cycle, That is how I plan my trips to come see her, It work for our son Chase.

A DNA test will prove conclusivly if your the farther or not :)

  2. Just spoke with a friend whom I had recommended to him to visit Thailand.

His biggest concerns were his health (flu) and the possibility of quarantine (flu).

Does anyone know what you currently face as a tourist when you arrive??? i.e.

Thermal Scanner……What is the threshold for a tourist or a plane load of tourists

to be quarantined and for how long…..just imagine you’re trying to plan the

trip of a life time with these concerns….

Could'nt agree more with your comments. A lot of people on here don't realise how serious this is.

  3. Ok i replied earlier to this thread and i have taken everyone's thoughts on the matter and here's what i want to say now

Firstly yes there is a global downturn which has been festering for the last 18 months or so.No jobs,No money,No holiday.

secondly the government is so busy with trying to overthrow itself it's lost track of the real issues here and the consequences of it's actions being right or wrong is irrelevant, eg AIRPORT SHUTDOWN. BIG MISTAKE.The repocusions will be felt for a long time yet.

Thirdly Visa issues. How can anybody invest in a country where they dont want you. All they want is your money .PERIOD.Or am i missing something?

And to end my thoughts on the matter the virus has played a part for me as i mentioned in my earlier post on not travelling to Thailand or anywhere on a plane for that matter due to the risk factor for the time being.I love Thailand and it's people (the ones that are not trying to rip you off). And for anybody who's going to reply to my post i'm married to a beutiful Thai lady with a very cheeky and lovable baby boy.

  4. We where due to land in Thai at 6pm Thai time for a months stay but the only reason why we decided against it was because of the swine flue. Theres every chance of contracting the virus in Thailand especially if flying internally which we do a lot when were over there. In fact any large gatherings including buses and trains. If i or my family are going to catch the virus i'd rather it be in my home country. I dont cherish the thought of being quarantined in a Thai hospital and having to pay.

Jeez...do you have an ambulance on standby every time you cross the road?

We put our health first because it seems the flu is escalating and I've read on the Internet somewhere the authorities are trying to keep a low profile on the actual figures(correct me if i'm wrong)

  6. Do whatever it takes to get your wife and child back to UK soil. If it was me personally i would promise the earth. As a farther myself to a son around the same age i would go back over to Thailand spend a few weeks with them and get her confidence back to return with you. If that does'nt work, then bring the lawyers in,but only as a last resort. Good luck.

  7. I don't know but I think it is very worrying to think about what may happen if just one such pillar gives in for the weight on top - 6 floors of mall + another 8 or so of a hotel on top of it.... :D

What an alarmist post ... :)

First there is NO hotel on top of these pillars.

The hotel is only over the end sea side of the mall while the car park is on the 2nd road side only.

Then there are NO "6 floors of mall" above neither. This corner of the building is "car parks" only.

Now I agree that this "reinforcement" is not the best for such a new building,

but that also means that someone take care of this kind of potential problem :D

    :D

I aint parking my car in there either

  8. Im no construction expert but i do know one thing........ If im ever in there and there is a heavy snowfall, i'll be first one out of the doors!

At least those inward opening doors wont get stuck in the snow :)

I aint going in there period

  9. The Nokair ones probably worked for XL Airlines who were leasing Nok's 737-800s for a short period of time in 07/08. Those aircraft have since returned to europe

We went as a family on the Nokair XL route from udon thani to bangkok back in feb 08. One of the hostess's came from manchester uk and only spoke English over the tannoy system. She also made everyone with small children wear a third seatbelt, something that nok air generally dont do

  10. I'd cut your expenses down and enjoy the Thai way of life.Your not doing yourselve any favoures coming back to the Uk.Theres more corruption going on here than anywhere in the world.Dont forget big brother watching too . I for one can't wait to get out of here. Good luck with your decision.

  11. My two year old son who's English/Thai is doing extremly well with his English/Thai/Issan/Lao language.I would only hope anybody on this thread who thinks it's a waste of time and of no importance in later life remembers this. If your lying in the middle of the road after a traffic accident and need help i hope and you would hope that someone can speak the native language whatever it may be as well as English to the emergency services. I would think being bi-lingual would be a great advantage to relay information whatever the cause may be under any circumstances (traffic accident just an example)
