  1. I was recomended to fly emirates from a friend of mine who's travelled around the world on most airlines.I must say i have never travelled long haul before and my experiance with emirates was second to none. I love there commitment to passenger service and there time keeping. I know sometimes there a little more expensive than there rivals, but i for one will always travel with them. After travelling several times with them i accumulated enough air miles to travel business class from manchester to dubai and onward to bangkok. What a great experiance that was. I cannot compare with the other airlines but in my opinion i wanted for nothing on my flights, business or economy. I'm looking forward to travelling with them again soon. well done emirates.

  2. Thanks for your replies guys, but i think i've tried everything i know to get back on it. I'm still unable too. I've tried going on links to udon map and i always get the same response ( web page unavailable). I honestly don't know what else to do. And yes i have tried clearing my browser, and i still get no response.

  3. Can anybody solve this problem?. I've been trying to connect to udonmap.com for over 2 weeks now. all i get is cannot display the webpage.I've checked my connections and tried the diagnostic problems but i still cannot gain access to the page. And i'm not banned before you ask. Is there a problem with the thai end of the site?.

Just a "temp" glitch? I just tried it and it opened up fine

  5. This is a great thread, really funny, love the camel and gun post had me in stiches. As for the moderators..lighten-up guys, it's just a bit of fun.

I can relate to a fair bit of whats been said, i love me wife but my niggles are; her standard reply to any question i have is "up to you" drives me crazy. Her lack of initive, seems to be a Thai trait. Her huge mood swings and the resulting silent treatment for any misdomeaner on my part and finaly..."Darling can you give me some money"

my wife must have been in the same class at school. My wife cant make a decision from a choice and it's always up too you. If the decision is wrong she blames me and does'nt speak to me for days. At the end of the day we love them that's why we married them.

  6. we all know the procedure of the way thai people go about there lifes on the roads. I for one would never travel on a bike. Common sense kicks in when you see these people take risks joining the main roads from side streets without looking. Young people and school children riding carelessly weaving in and out to beat the traffic and there mates. AN ALL TOO FAMILIAR STORY. as Ive said in my previous post. Would this thread get the same attention if it was a thai driver who killed or injured the family

  7. An all too familiar story. I've driven on thai roads especially in north east thai. The roads have no lights. The bikes have no lights or number plates, and of course they all seem to wear dark clothing. It's a recipe for disaster. This poor family with four people on the bike which has been designed for one person has no chance of survival in an accident let alone a drunk driver being involved(as were told). Whats this guy going through right now. He will have this on his mind for the rest of his life drunk or not,he can never bring this family back. There's a lot to be said and to be done to prevent this tragedy from happening again. Head protection for one a priority. You have this implemented in bangkok, why not the rest of the country. And i realise the importance of transportation with limited funds but four people on a bike is not safe in anybody's language and should only carry at the most two adults. I hope lessons will be learned from this and the newly elected government should look at this if and when a democratic government is formed

  8. LONDON - Thaksin Attempts to Take up Residence in the UK

Thailand's ousted Prime Minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, has fled a coup d'etat in his homeland and attempted to take up residence in the UK. As he is not in possession of a formal visa, he has been informed by the UK Immigration Department that he can stay in the UK for 30 days before having to do a visa run to France or Ireland. He is allowed to repeat this process no more than twice in any given 180 day cycle.

Eye-witnesses have reported spotting him in a strip-club in Soho, trying to arrange a quick marriage to a young peasant girl from Lincolnshire.

:o that is so funny,i've got water running down my face here
