The current angst in MagaLand appears to stem from a narrow range of possible explanations. Either Bondi, Patel, and Bongino were lying, deluded, or opportunistically grifting before the latest Epstein revelations—or they’re now participating in a coverup. Are there any other plausible alternatives?

"The Nobel Peace Prize has a history of controversy, with some laureates' actions or pasts sparking debate. Some examples include Henry Kissinger, Yasser Arafat, Barack Obama, and even Adolf Hitler."

I did not say it was a slip, you just made that up.
What I said was that the statement says nothing about what Vance's core beliefs are, and that anyone that believes legacy media might have said the same thing about Trump at the time.
I went on to say that anyone not wanting to get cancelled by the rabid left might say the same thing.
And again, this was said in 2016, before his first term.
So, nothing even remotely about a slip. Why not have an honest discussion?
Tough to have an honest discussion when you start off by calling half of America "generally stupid"

Which really says nothing about what his core beliefs are, does it? Anyone that believes legacy media might have said the same thing about Trump at the time.
Anyone not wanting to get cancelled by the rabid left might say the same thing as well.
And 2016 was before his first term.
Calling Trump ‘America’s Hitler’ doesn’t sound like a slip. Maybe 'chameleon' is more apt than shapeshifter.

He did not morph. The left thought he was something he was not.
Now I wonder why they thought that?
“I go back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical ahole like Nixon who wouldn’t be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he’s America’s Hitler,” Vance wrote in a message to a friend in 2016.

The Right should be careful what they wish for. Vance is a shapeshifter. Just ask the progressives who once championed him, before he morphed into a MAGA.

The head of the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog said that Iran could start producing enriched uranium again “in a matter of months”. Rafael Grossi told CBS News https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/iaea-chief-says-iran-could-be-enriching-uranium-within-months-2025-06-29/

President Trump would do himself a great favor by simply taking the win. The raid was well executed. His attempts to gaslight the results before anyone has had a chance to analyze the data might resonate with his base, but to many of us who’ve learned to be skeptical of administrations, it comes across as amateurish. Think: Iraqi WMDs.

The uselessness of the G7 and the United Nations, the wars, global disunity, moral and spiritual decline, and injustice indicate the unstoppable decline of the current world order. “Soon,” Baha’u’llah Himself has prophesied, “will the present-day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead.” And again: “By Myself! The day is approaching when We will have rolled up the world and all that is therein, and spread out a new Order in its stead.”
Sounds like the ultimate celestial spring cleaning! Out with the old, in with the divine upgrade. Hope it comes with better WiFi.

I dont know who wrote this. Maybe AI, but as a veteran it makes me sad.
"And then there was this leaden spectacle on Saturday, June 14.
I have never experienced such a joyless, lifeless, and sterile mass event in my entire life. Grim-faced soldiers, marching past half-empty grandstands, many of them obviously wanting to be somewhere else. No bands. Little bunting. Just piped-in rock music and MAGA hats. If this truly was meant to honor the 250 years of the United States Army, all we got was an endless procession of uniformed troops looking like they’d prefer to have been at Valley Forge. The president, sitting on the reviewing stand in that weird, forward-leaning attitude that he has, rarely smiling, a skunk at his own garden party. Scores of people being funneled through cattle-runs of metal grates just for a chance to sit on the lawn of the Washington Monument and listen to bad music and speeches so dull and listless that they’d have made Demosthenes get out of the business and open an olive oil stand. I think there probably was more good feeling and genuine emotion when they took Jack Kennedy out to Arlington for the last time."

As I documented earlier, after three hours and three different support reps, the only solution was adding my daughter's US phone number to the page. They were extremely polite, but their lack of knowledge about the systems they claim to support is concerning. I considered purchasing a virtual US number, but the reps couldn't confirm whether it would work.

I’m now looking at moving to the Philippines I plan to go there next month after I have renewed my retirement visa here in Thailand .Over the next year I will go there several times just to check places our my sister in law although living in Dubai is from the Philippines and has given me a heads up of good places for expats . On top of that my UK OAP is frozen moving there will increase my frozen pension to just under £3,000 per year so it’s almost a certainty that my time in Thailand will come to an end and a fresh start in the Philippines looks very much my next destination
I don’t see it. I have been extending my retirement visa for the past 24 years. It costs me less than $100 a year and takes half a day. The biggest change was the move from Soi Suan Plu to CW.

Yeap....you are probably right....see below snapshot #1 from DSLogin documentation dated May 2021 which says foreign numbers are not currently supported.
However, in the latest docs dated 15 July 2024 I couldn't find anything saying a foreign number is not accepted....just says a "valid" number which could mean US number only or US & foreign numbers....I don't know...just guessing.
Snapshot 1
Snapshot 2
Latest docs/15 July 2024.
May 4 was the last time I received a PIN on my AIS number. When I attempted again about two weeks later, it failed. Since everything had worked throughout 2024, I assumed it was a recent DOGE SNAFU.
I can understand system failures, but what concerns me is the lack of awareness of the issue among the people responsible for maintaining the systems and assisting users

I just attempted the 2FA call back method to the US number I have on file with DSLogin/DEERS and within a second or two I got a call where a voice gave the PIN number to use....and after it readout the number the voice said press any number to hear the PIN again which I did....then the voice repeated the PIN. I then used PIN to complete the login no problem. This was the first time ever attempting the call back method as I had always used the text method.
The callback wording you are getting is nothing like the word I heard and also makes no sense especially since the last sentence is recommending you contact your "bank?" I'm not saying that is not the recording you heard....I'm just saying it makes no sense for a DSLogin attempt. But then again, maybe if DSLogin does not want to provide a PIN to the number being used it still generates a callback saying thanks for your attempt instead of just saying they will not send a PIN via call back to the number being used. Kinda beating around the bush is trying to explain they will not send a voice PIN to your particular number.
I then did another login using the text method and that worked fine also.
I spent three hours over three days on the phone with the tech support people at DMDC explaining all of this. They had no explanation and were unable to fix it. I finally suggested adding my daughter's NY number to the system.
Based on your experience it's pretty obvious that a US number is required.

Has this not migrated to login.gov or id.me like social security/medicare/IRS etc.? I use an authenticator app on my phone for both of those. No phone number required.
TOP is not available on id.me or login.gov.

I just checked TOP and it seems only DS Logon is accepted.
