My first visit to Bangkok was in 1983. That first trip resulted in both a first marriage and my first experience teaching ESL. Neither of these firsts attempts went well.

I've lived in Thailand on and off since 1994. I had better luck teaching, and have worked in Korea and Egypt as well as Thailand. I have a wife but I still don't have a cat.

I just finished three years in Inner Mongolia at a vocational college. The students treated me like an idol.

Now we've sold our condo in Bangkok and bought a house in Isaan for my retirement.
