  1. Why does there always need to be a CRACKDOWN? Crime prevention and detection should be a daily occurrence. Thai police are always reactive and never proactive if you want to look into mafia start in your own police organization, working in cahoots with visa agents doesn’t help the situation
  2. From experience in the court system its a crazy system. Released and passport detained by the police they would take you to the immigration to get extension stamp, then after an initial visit to the court admin office you are given a court date and your passport is returned this is where immigration get pissed off, you have your passport back and need them to extend your visa, they are used to foreigners leaving the country now so every visit they shout at you to go home then the same thing happens for most of the 12 months probation. If the court dont want him to leave dont give him his passport back and provide court documents for his visa
  3. Targeting one foreign rider ! What about the thousands of thai riders doing the same thing on a daily basis. Certainly make him face punishment but treat him the same as all the thai riders he is mimicking
  4. Good idea in principle but this will quickly turn into a corrupt method of subsidizing and individuals police salary. The police chief keeps demanding that the public trust his officers, but that’s impossible with a different police corruption or criminality scandal every week they only way to sort this is to drastically reduce the size of the police force especially senior officers, pay the police a better salary, issue police weapons (police currently get huge discounts on guns, these will often be sold on for a profit after the holding period. I like to see every gun involved in a crime investigated to see who originally purchased it) separate agency promotion exam boards so only the youngest and brightest get promoted instead of the one with biggest pocket. Police complaints procedures, so those incompetent officers can be weeded out after a certain amounts of public complaints, stop this moved to an inactive post and terminate their employment. The police and thai people have forgotten that the police are public servants and are employed at the will of the people
  5. Wow police doing there job and it becomes newsworthy headline
  6. Why? According to Putin Russia is not at war, its just a special operation. what about Ukrainians are they being given the same dispensation, after all it was there country that is under siege
  7. Israel are renowned for taking decisive military action against any and all perceived threats to its sovereignty or citizens, what did Hamas expect to happen? Ok they encroached onto Israeli territory caused panic and devastation for a few hours but what kind of victory have they achieved. All that is going to happen is condemnation from the rest of the world, and either the total destruction of Gazza or its occupation and annexation by Israel, and they can do it with the rest of the world thinking that Hamas brought it upon themselves
  8. Has a place. Within the government but is too sick to return to jail
  9. The guy who screwed up the cannabis regulations now giving directions on the gun laws …. God help us
  10. Too sick for detention but prime minister has already stated that he wants him as an adviser to his office, to sick for prison but healthy enough to return to politics
  11. Question 1. How many other convicted and sentenced prisoners have been treated in the Police hospital in recent years, how many of those were flown by helicopter and how many got to stay in a private room? ( i ask because a guy i know was allowed to die in the hospital wing of the prison without and special treatment) question 2. If his sentence has been cut because he is old and seriously ill why is the prime minister already talking about him having a place as a government adviser, surely if he is too sick and old to serve his sentence then he is definitely to frail to be involved in politics question 3. How is a politician who fled the country and was later convicted and sentenced on various corruption charges allowed to legally have anything to do with politics again? question 3. Why was his sentence cut? Why not let him be released under house arrest with monitoring bracelet?
  12. Should be placed in house arrest on an ankle bracelet for the full term of the 8 year imprisonment if he is so ill, bet a few days after his release he’ll be out living the high life. Thailand keep insisting that there is justice for all but still we see that rich and poor receive very different treatment
  13. Dumb as bricks, the senate will have the vote to decide on there premier choice, red shirts are even less likely to gain the votes than the move forward candidate.
  14. Hmmm and i wonder what happens while this vote is postponed indefinitely…. The general and the guy who gave the senators there jobs will remain in charge…..
  15. He created the mess yet hopes for a peaceful resolution
