British Tourist Attacks Thai Officer, Gets Restrained
Even in the unlikely event the cop provoked the situation, you gotta be out of your tree to chin him. I can imagine the retribution back at the station would have been swift and without mercy, and not one to one!

Thai Tourism Targets Big Spenders with Luxury Focus
They should accept Thailand for what it is, a developing country! As such there simply isn't the infrastructure to support anything near luxury holidays. First thing a visitor notices is the driving standards, then the wires hanging between concrete or wooden poles, as for Bangkok it's a toilet for a capital city its a disgrace. TAT should work with what they have, improve what they have get rid or duel pricing and after they have mastered that take the next step towards bigger spenders.

Chiang Mai Crowned Asia's Best City, Bangkok Shines in Third
Laughable seriously i have friends with young families that live there and every year for 6 weeks they move down to the coast because of the air pollution! I once went to visit friends there I got off the train tuk tuk into town didn't even bother to check into hotel immediately returned to train station where I spent the day waiting for the 4pm train back to Bangkok.

Fed-Up Nottingham Dad Moves Family to Thailand for New Life
Whilst I dont disagree with getting out of UK I wouldn't recommend relocating to Thailand! I dont think he has looked at what's on offer regarding his children's education? As a family unit what is on offer, go visit some temples, the water park, pop into Market village for a European breakfast at a few 100 per person or find an ex pat restaurant or some Thai street food. Perhaps at night you could go see a film? You and the misses pop into local bar for a drink? Maybe you could all take up golf? Seriously have a rethink perhaps go for a months holiday then make a decision. Good luck.

British Holidaymaker Dies in Bangkok: A Mother’s Heartfelt Warning
Why would you get involved with any drug in Thailand? The penalties are not worth it. You pay your money you take your chance sometimes that just doesn't work out.

British TikTok Star Jailed in Thailand Over Visa and Benefit Fraud
What a low life slag! She doesn't recognise her older children unless it's her birthday and she ponces cash from the father's she states she's had a 'designer vagina' to eradicate any signs of child birth! Her child is named Cairo i wonder if that where he was conceived or the father is Egyptian? I do feel for the kids because at some stage in their lives they are going to find out about her. I sincerely hope she gets kicked out and the UK investigate her for potential fraud.

British Couple's Thailand Dream Becomes Legal Nightmare
Actually they can! Well at least 49% with 2 other 'investers' having 17% each. (In their company) Making them majority share holders and their house becomes their company office. I owned a property for 6 years like this, sold it at a profit and moved onto the next one using the same system.

Heartbroken Irish mum honours ‘special son’ lost on Koh Tao
I feel for the parents, they have raised €30,000 to take the body back to Ireland? The cost for a body repatriation can be anywhere between £2,500 and £20,000, however the average cost usually tends to be somewhere around £3,000 to £6,000. The cost for an ashes repatriation is usually lower and can be around £1,000 to £3,000 depending on the level of the service. This is to the UK, I know what I'd be repatriation a nice urn .....

Etc etc and at the bottom but most expensive was foreigners....funny enough I never received a reply. BTW the letter was in Thai.

Police break up network aiding foreigners to stay in Thailand
You could do this in Hua Hin years ago the purpose was for house purchase. Same deal solicitor sets up a bogus company your a 49% share holder and 3 'ghost ' Thais would also be share holders at 17% each (provided you with some comfort knowing your the major share holder) . The property became your company house. You still had to have the 800k in the bank. But you could 'legally ' stay. Happy days.

I could be wrong but I believe all government pensions are taxed at source as are private pensions (they are not earned in LoS) So unless they are throwing work permits around where's the panic? Ohh that will be from those working unlawfully worrying about not paying tax !
