Mine was same day, plus they wanted 3 month printed statement from bank. This was not in Hua Hin. Go armed with everything you think they MIGHT need, then they'll only be a few more pointless documents missing.... Good luck.

Yes, i agree it's sad to see a lot of it as you describe - derelict @ Cozy. Soi #5 on the other side is busy enough, couple of nice little bars there to sit at on an evening people watching, resonable prices too and good variety of food options.

Someone i know thought they had food poisoning so went to hospital, while there a Covid test was taken. He went home and then got a call the next morning saying they were coming to take him away, and sure enough they did - 10 days in hospital....no thanks!

As mentioned in my experience there's little or no HSE here in most aspects of life, you mention construction only where you can 'apparently' tell they have good standards by merely passing by and witnessing shift changes, really? I do not think i'm superior just pointing out low standards in this country,

You quite obviously have no idea about intl health and safety standards if you think what you see here cuts the mustard....never mind. My comments are based on what i've seen and witnessed in my time in this wonderful kingdom. Cozy beach has never had night life, mostly small resto's.

Great place to spend a few days for sure, lots to do. Long may it continue but i'd suspect in the next month or so ( if not sooner ) places will start to shut down.

Are you allowed to transit through BKK? I think most flights that stop and continue to another location the passengers are not allowed off the plane? Plus transit passengers are not considered as arrivals.
