If you take a test 72 hours prior to travel and it's negative it's a redundant test IMO, someone may be in the incubation preriod and become + within hours after the PCR is taken and therefore travel totally infected and spreading, there may be multiple people per flight in this situation...

Khao Kho is very different to Pattaya. Although it's very scenic there's not really a lot to do. Good bike trip if that's your thing.

All i was asked for at airport 3 nights ago on entry was Thai Pass and hotel booking, nothing else.

That's good but in such an enclosed space for such a long period of time it's still inevitable if one person is contaminated that the virus will spread.
