  1. Don't think so. It does seem like another highly successful country man. Real masters of the profession.
  2. His friend sent him 55K baht worth of class 1 drugs through the post. Wut guld pussible go wrong? darwinism at its finest.
  3. Interesting. Phuket immigration does not give this visa (at least to me) without sole custody over the child. However, I am married still, so maybe this makes the differents?
  4. I tried this visa once in Phuket and they told me I needed sole custody over my child. As in, the mother needed to give up custody in court and give me it for 100%. Is this a different visa than a guardian visa?
  5. Just walk-in mate. Don't wait on a semi-working App.
  6. It's not a hype, it's the only way out. Vaccinations don't stop spread but it does reduce transmission by quite a lot. It reduces deaths, long Covid19 and therefore strain on the general healthcare. Since we base the situation on hospitalizations, people not getting a vaccine are actively prolonging the implied restrictions, thus hurting the economy, which of course hurts us all in the end.
  7. The whole anti-vax movement just proves again how stupid humanity really is as a mass. A form of Aristocracy will suit us way better than this semi-democracy form that we currently have. Most of us suffer from a serious case of Dunning-Kruger. I don't know much about vaccinations so therefore thrust the experts.
  8. Lack of restrictions and people living their lives more or less normally due to being vaccinated (and rightfully so), brings many infections. Vaccinations don't stop the spread but only prevents most severe cases. And we see this back in severe cases (hardly any). Time to let green patients quarantine at home, open the schools and let the tourist have their holiday. Only let fully vaccinated people on the island and monitor hospitalization of people with symptoms instead of solely infections. This has to be approach if they want to open Thailand next month. They seem scared and are still focused on X amount of cases found in X area. This approach only works pre-vaccines. We are past that. With vaccinations you walk on the line of not overwhelming the healthcare system and without destroying the economy. Time to show some balls.
  9. I don't live in England, why should I need an english teacher? Little ironice for someone writing "competant". If you're going to bash my english, at least write it correct yourself.
  10. Fair enough, but that is a separate issue to that of an investment visa. 90 days requirements are very silly indeed.
  11. What do benefits have to do with it.. You don't get benefits in Thailand. Ever heard of an investment visa in the UK?
  12. We already have visa options for retirees and people working in Thailand... What they want?
  13. "The report marked that of the COVID patients in care 34 were designated as ‘Red patients’ (zero change); 339 were designated ‘Yellow’ patients (zero change) and 706 were ‘Green’ patients (-10)." People in care; Red: Severe Symptoms (34 people) Yellow: Mild symptoms (339 people) Green: Asymptotic (706 people)
  14. No paid service was included no... What might be of interest is that I was 18 years old at the time. Don't think this should have anything to do with it, but then again it does seem strange I was never asked to proof this in hindsight.
  15. Netherlands. Mine was 12 years ago and I don't remember getting any such form. We were married at an amphur in Bangkok were we were renting a condo in the area. The whole process was very quick. My wife did had to proof the divorced her previous husband some years prior to that, but nothing was asked of me..
  16. Netherlands..It was 12 years ago but don't remember getting any sort of form like that.
  17. Maybe a US thing. I never had to get such form from my embassy.
  18. Legally maybe not, however they didn't enforce it with us at all. Again, TIT, everything goes.
  19. I'm also not expect by any change. However, I was in a similar situation (married in Netherlands) and fixed it by marrying in TH and it was no issue whatsoever. Dont forget TIT, and everything goes.
  20. Just tell them you are married in your country but like to get married for Thai law as well. As you might expect, they prefer this.
  21. Yeah. I wouldn't even bother telling the Thai authorities that you are already married in the US. Just sign the paperwork here and it will safe you a whole bunch of worrying.
