If this treatment is successful, it could mean a new HUB for Thailand.
I mean another HUB.yep, great potential. I can even foresee marketing using this to improve tourist numbers ????

...not taking toddlers away from their mommies...
as has been posted before:
Sad situation indeed and while toddlers are innocent, the question can be asked about their "mommies" who willingly put them in that situation, expecting America to fix their problem.
Putting children in potential danger may be even classified as a form of child abuse. Not nice.

My husband came to the USA legally. He was told that if he uses government assistance such as welfare, it would seriously jeopardize his ability to continue to reside here. This is the reason many Latinos support Trump to the disbelief of the left. They resent that there are rules for people who do the right thing and those who feel that crossing illegally into the USA is their God given right.
and how would you feel if (while waiting) somebody with more money paid "people smuggles" just to get ahead of you?

Right. Now whoever is President tries to stack the SC with as many judges as possible of their political party to assist with furthering their agenda. As these are life long appointments it can shape the political landscape for easily 10-30 years.
sure it will - for better or worse

Use a program to see what is being sent out from your machine - Glass Wire is one example. Use that (if willing to pay for it) or another firewall program and basically block outgoing stuff by trial and error.
There was some comments on Avast forums a while ago about the the "phoning home" from the program and someone said they had blocked a number of the connections using their hosts file.
On android I use AF Wall to basically block everything other than my browser on the few occasions I bother to use it.
Just a few examples to possibly start you looking.
Obviously you are better with computers than I - so thanks for that, will look into this.
What do you think about Glary Utilities and Brave browser?

Not to dispute hard working people who would like to be better of, but until passports are abolished, nations have the right and indeed obligation (to their citizens) to decide whom to allow in - or the world will end up with big chaos
Do you have any PRACTICAL suggestions?

part of the problem is that there are only 2 political parties
better to have 3 or more
but whomever you vote, they are OWNED by big corporations anyway
lobby groups throw money to both, to get what THEY want
it is just a farce
it's been said that no matter who you vote for, some politician will get in

Majority of countries in this world control (or try to control) their borders.
Lucky for many (in US) that they don't have to pay penalties for "overstay".

AFAIK, (from my previous work as a police volunteer in Thailand for many years), medicines are not allowed for prisoners, even if you inform the prison authorities that you are on medication and will die without it etc.
That certainly was my experience with several prisoners, (they didn't die, but their heart/diabetes medication was confiscated).
I'm happy to be corrected on this ????
good to hear from somebody who actually has first hand experience - and what you said certainly renders many other posts invalid

I've used Grab in Chiang Mai and it was by far the best route to go. Taxis in CM are more difficult to get. The red mini buses don't always go where you want and have to wait until they have enough people. You can just rent the whole mini bus but that gets expensive. I found the Grab taxi to be much better value and service. In Bangkok Grab is great for getting out of my soi as I live very deep in the soi. Out on the main streets I use taxis because there are more of them around.
Anyone knows if Grab operates in Hua Hin?

Yes, Grab is more expensive than taxi. But you can choose GrabTaxi which is 20 baht on top of meter fare.
Now that sentence would assume you can just stop any taxi and they immediately turn on the meter and take you at best possible route to your destination. It doesn't assume extorting taxis or you standing there for 3 hours without anyone wanting to take you without a rip-off price, giving you a city tour, and every other scam known to man.
With Grab, price is as listed, GPS directs the taxi to fastest route to destination and you don't get rejected... Although, especially in bad traffic jam, it can happen that simply nobody responds to your booking. That's true. But then at least you know immediately that you should seek alternative transport rather than stand there trying to catch a cab that won't take you.
I don't have any experience with Grab. How do I book one?
-
Unfortunately, this is true for most programs, browsers, social media and the rest.
I am truing to be selective what I use, but it only helps to some extend.
Apart from stopping using Internet and smart phone, what are the suggestions?

It is Sanook stating that it was known he suffered from diabetes, which might be something they digged up after. In that case, if the man had his belongings taken away from him and never opened his mouth about any diabetes or a need for medication. In that case you can´t blame immigration either.
...his belongings taken away from him and never opened his mouth about any diabetes or a need for medication...
Seriously, do you think there was some serious attempt to ask him at all?

Stop pumping raw, untreated sewage into the ocean would be a wonderful start. It is important to do more than talk, to do more than tell the concerned agencies to cooperate with one another, and to do more than wave one's hand majestically with a serene, but powerful look on one's face. The white elephant known as the EEC can wait a few months.
I think what you say makes sense, but do you seriously think the top shots are ready to face the truth? Can they handle the truth?

Wrong. As scientists who study the matter repeatedly point out, when the FFDI rises above 50, which was the case in Australia, bush clearing and controlled burning does absolutely nothing to prevent these fires. But what's more, you seem to have swallowed the lie propagated by the Murdoch media empire that these measures weren't being undertaken. In fact, in Victoria, there was twice as much done in the last 5 year rotation as in the previous one.
Modern science is young.
Murdoch is temporary, but native population did what they did for 40000 years and it worked.
