The problem is hospitals are overwhelmed by Covid sufferers, many of whom are unvaccinated, and other patients waiting for an operation, a transplant or regular treatment have to wait: some may die because of that. So the disease may have a high survival rate but think about this. Think also about the dedicated but overworked and overwhelmed hospital staff.
