If our Government (USA) starts to treat the whiners from Thailand with special access to Vaccines, the floodgates will open and that is not going to be good for our State Department.

Americans need to "Man UP" and sit back, wait your turn or get on the plane and fly home and get your jab.

Move on.

I must agree....my teenagers and those turning 21 are doing their own thing and do not need this kind of stimulation and sure as hell will not put up with scammers.  They have Reddit to warm them about how the game is being played....

Not sure I feel sorry for those scammers....if they saved, invested and managed their money, instead of wasting it on gambling, drugs, shopping and Toms, they would not be in this situation at the moment.  Live for the day does not work on this planet...it never did in the past and never will.

Of course I would spend a ton of money to come to an island and be locked in the secure housing unit.

With all of the controls in place, why are these numbers still hovering around 2000? They should just accept it and open the restaurants and bars with strick mask control, seating arrangements and cleaning.  Alcohol can be served with strict limits.

These numbers will not go down until there is massive ramp up of vaccinations for the BKK and other provinces.

Learn from Europe and USA.  We screwed up, but are now ready to return to normal.  Whatever normal is these days.

Hmmmm, so how did he get back to Thailand...?  Shocking.

I guess since he loves this country so much, he will now have a longer stay at the BKK Hilton!

  Some of us Americans, believe it or not, are not whiners, do not fee entitled, work hard, and find a way to survive without depending on the Embassy.  If those Americans in Thailand who are crying for special treatment would do some homework, they would know that the US Embassy's role is not to facilitate the distribution of vaccines in another country, other than for its embassy workers!
