If you have half a mind to go on holiday to Thailand that is all you need, especially with Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia in the same area. At least those countries pretend to like you and give you value for money whereas Thais hate all falangs and rip them off openly. More fool people who are taken in by the land of smiles - there's more sincerity in a crocodile's smile.

So the wokies and virtue signallers have reared their heads in Thailand now. A tiny minority of anally retentive morons trying to tell the rest of the world how to live. We live in a sad, sad world where sad, sad people have to virtue signal at every opportunity because it is the only way they can feel important. Wake up call, you are only important to other people like you, to 99.99% of the world you are irrelevant. 

Yes, it was inappropriate behaviour no matter the circumstances but get off your high horses and stop being so judgemental.

As if Thais don't kill and eat anything that fly's, swims or walks anywhere on a daily basis.

Thailand is rapidly returning to the pits it crawled out of with this bunch of clowns in charge.

Anyone remember the tsunami. Falangs flocked to Thailand to help the economy recover, even after prices tripled overnight, they were happy enough to welcome falangs then. But the innate nature of the Thais soon kicked in - beg for help then mug the helper. They can't help it, if you save a snake it will still bite you. Problem for Thailand is people are wishing up and spending their money in Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, etc.

1. Arab men want girls ( or ladyboys ) for a short time. They will send their wives and children on a long trip shopping  for them to bring a girl for a quicky in their room.

 

or best make a trip to the massage parlor for a happy 1.5hr. Girls don't mind Arab  customers as long as they bathe 

 

2. a lot of booze.. they love to drink.  Arab don't care for the bar scene 

 

If TAT should not think  Arab wants :

1. to visit Temples or pray at the Mosque.-- No way

2. noodle soup with pork balls, - can't eat that 

3 Non Halal food.  may be sea food. But they will stick to their own diet.

4. girls with masks - seen it all the time in Saudi- boring to see them again in Thailand

5, Beaches...- They got beaches too. And they never go swimming.

If that's all they want they're going to be coming in droves because there's nothing faster at getting horizontal than a Thai woman - although I'd say they would have competition from underage boys for this lot.

And how many little boys were sent to his room to persuade him to say this?

Thailand as a tourist destination for westerners is dying on it's feet and will soon be a pariah country to all. People in Thailand think they are clever (although the really clever ones escape to other countries) and don't seem to understand the old adage, ' you can fool all of the people some of the time......................' The writing is on the wall for this nasty, corruption riddled country. Much like the weedy little boy in school Thailand tries to cozy up to a powerful 'friend' - like they did in 1941 when they sided with Japan while the rest of s e Asia went the other way. 90%of tourism in Thailand revolves around the willingness and speed of Thai women getting horizontal (very willing, very quick) but who wants to do that with covid still rampant. As for China calling Thais dirty, that is rich coming from a country where people urinate and defacate in the street and on public transport in public. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I was in China and, what's worse, no-one batted an eyelid.

Both China and Thailand reckon their civilizations pre-date western civilization. If this is the result I prefer to stay uncivilised.

I used to like Thailand, especially Chiang Mai, but now it is just a cess pit of corruption. Throughout the 70s, 80, 90s and 00s I was a regular visitor with wife, children and, eventually, grandchildren. Now, when visiting SE Asia I avoid Thailand and Cambodia like the plague. Reason, corruption - most of which started after the west tried to help Thailand after the tsunami and they just saw us as easy, soft hearted marks. Secondly is the massive influx of Chinese and and Indian businesses and tourists with their filthy habits turning the place into a cesspit.

I know that urinating, spitting and defacating in the street is normal and acceptable to these people in their countries as I have seen it all to often, but do they really have to import their filthy habits to other countries

No such thing as a 'bad' dog, only bad owners.

And this, people, is the Land of Smiles!!!

Thailand is rapidly heading back to third world status. They fail to understand even the basics of economics and their failure to grasp any concept of 'future' doesn't help the situation.

Corruption in Thailand starts at the very top and filters all the way to the bottom and any mention of Thailand on social media usually carries the words corruption or rip-off.

What a pity such a beautiful country is wasted on such grasping, horrible people. Still, it won't be too long before the baht collapses and it will be worth visiting again.

And before anyone thinks this is uninformed opinion, I lived and worked in Thailand for 6 years and left because I couldn't stand the ignorance - used in both contexts - selfishness and racism

I don't know what planet Thai authorities live on but they certainly don't know why people visit Thailand. Some may come for the beaches, some may come for the temples but the majority, by far, come because Thai women get horizontal quicker than any other.

Thailand will never attract rich tourists while there are places like the Caribbean that have better facilities
