  1. What seems "absurd" to you is simply irrelevant! I receive a pension of over 1 million THB per year! My pension goes into my "Wise" account in Belgium. There, I convert it into THB! I then transfer what I need. But I could just as easily not transfer anything and pay for all my major expenses with my credit card! And withdraw the cash I need from an ATM...! My "O" Visa doesn't require me to transfer money to Thailand!! Proof that I have it is sufficient, and I have for 25 years!
  2. I have been living in Pattaya for 37 years, and for 25 years I have been receiving my EOS upon presentation of my income certificate, which is issued by the consulate in Pattaya. For several years now, copies of my pension certificates have been attached as an appendix and stamped separately. There is no regulation in Thailand requiring these funds to be transferred. They just have to be proven! A letter from the bank is therefore never required! The certificate shows the income amount in € & THB! See attachment!
  3. There are also huge price differences between private clinics. I have been receiving inpatient treatment for more than 30 years, first at Pattaya International Clinic and for the last 20 years at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. The latter because they had a cardiology department. My last operation in 2024 was supposed to cost around 600,000 THB more at BPH than at a private hospital in Korat! Gallbladder removal and belly button repair... Price in Korat: approx. 280,000 THB. I pay for my own treatment! And I would only go to a public hospital if there was no other option! I looked into the options in Pattaya and Siracha... No, thank you!
  4. When in doubt, always trust AI... 😉 What do car manufacturers know about cars... Ha... ha... ha...! AI knows everything better, and you don't even have to read the manual 😉

  6. I had my cremation and everything related to it arranged and paid for at this institute 15 years ago. http://www.siamfuneral.com/about-us.html The embassy has also been informed! Everything has been arranged, from the cold storage to the cremation, including all accessories! The woman doesn't have to do anything, she is completely relieved!
  7. Sorry, I accidentally wrote it in German... ;-( Here it is in English. It's the store here on Naklua Road. I got the measurements wrong; it's a 6 mm tail! 120 x 105 cm. My Place... The price was about 1500 THB including delivery! But I don't live far away! It can carry about 400 kg. There is a short-pile carpet under my glass top! Here is an example from the market leader. But it is extremely expensive and not available in Thailand. That's why I had the idea.😉 The glass mats are also 6 mm thick! They can carry up to 500 kg! Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Since I live in Thailand, I have a Netflix subscription. This package: 419 Baht per month Video Resolution Ultra High Definition (4K) Also available with monthly payment through AIS. Starts at 99 THB https://www.ais.th/en/consumers/entertainment/streaming-app/netflix
  9. Es ist der Laden hier in der Naklua Road. Ich habe mich bei den Maßen vertan; Es ist 6 mm Schwanz! 120 x 105 cm. My Place....
  10. 178 / 5.000 Every country in the world gets the government its citizens elected! The best examples of this are the USA and Germany! They get what they deserve!
  11. In almost all of Europe, and in other countries too, Christmas decorations, including the Christmas tree, are already up in November! The only slightly annoying thing is the constant playing of Christmas carols... 😉
  12. Vitamin supplements are usually unnecessary for healthy people with a balanced diet and do not provide any significant health benefits. I eat muesli at 7:00 AM with fresh fruit, apples, papaya, and various nuts, dressed with pistachio milk. I also add a spoonful of psyllium husk and flaxseeds for good digestion! I have my second meal around 1:00 PM, whatever I feel like eating! Then that's it for the next 18 hours. That's how I lost 8 kg in about 6 months...without dieting or counting calories! Plus, I get plenty of exercise, and that should be enough 😉
  13. A simple look in the service booklet will give you the exact answer 😉
  14. Yes, you can get everything made to measure there! I had a tempered glass plate made, measuring 110 x 120 cm and 5 mm thick. It sits on my carpet to protect it because I move an office chair with casters on it! The acrylic mats yellow and get dirty, but the glass doesn't! It can hold up to 120 kg! However, it has to be ordered; delivery takes about a week.
  15. I am also German. I have been receiving my EOS for many years on the basis of a certificate from the German consul in Pattaya. However, I have to enclose copies of my pension statements, which are then attached to the income certificate and stamped. Proof of a transfer to a Thai bank is not required, nor is it mandatory!
