I really think that the committee for bright ideas (daily) should quarantine itself untill 2025 when a come back might be possible instead of convicing tourists not to come with the <deleted> ideas you keep coming up with.

Fingers crossed on that one, is it related to COVID 19? because it usually doesn't comply with Boarders, public holidays etc, it doesn't understand rules as we know them. WE have had some "Variants" in Australia and no one here is ignoring it, good luck

So with the number of motorcycle fatalities over this long weekend, did we get a breakdown of who i.e Farangs v Thai and with or without helments. 

What's the problem, I was under the impression the persons in the Privileged sector were expected to gather in perks by right.  Has anyone come up with an anthem to commemorate the demise of Thai Airways, such a shame they ran out of money, ho-hum, have to find another source...

This is a great add for the people wanting to come stay in Thailand, a COVID free Country.  Maybe the plug for the 5 year Visa should read "Come and try Covid for free" LOL. Surely this group will start a cluster of infections but in Thailand, that translates to Imported of Second hand?

The sooner the Thai Government stop talking to the media on a daily basis about all the <deleted> plans for stabilizing the downturn of the economy and focus on the real problem being their total ineptitude for controling their own people who come and go as they please, quarantine?  Why should they.

So as if causing the downfall of Thai Airways isn't enough?  Get a job,  stop running off at the mouth wth dreams and do something positive for a change or quit and let someone who cares about your country sort it out.

I have traveled to Philippines many times and there is a higher percentage speaking English by far, down side, they are better story tellers also so take care guys...

No big surprise there, you only have to go into a shopping mall or convenience store and ask a question to find something to come across "No Habla"  from many of the staff. There is a general attitude of "This is my Country, why should I learn English?"  And then there are the 90% who don't want Farang to come back....how is that working out.  What is unemployment and suicide rates up to now.  

Clap Clap Clap, 2025 is a long way off, go back to sleep and try not to think about it, I know, how about flying elephants, Thai of course, with seating for 6.....

With a population in excess of 65 million, why does Thailand even need to bring laborers from neighbouring countries? Could it be that the neighbours provide better quality, more reliable/energetic labor!  Many Thai Husbands send their wives out to work while sitting at home or elsewhere with their hand out for beer and ciggarett money, put them to work

So Sad, Phuket had so much going for it with various levels of accommodation spread around the many bays etc not forgetting Jungcelon

Most "big" bike riders are not weaving in and out of the traffic like a great amount of the Thi riders with their noisy little 155cc machines, riding like the own the roads, no helmets and generally thumbing their nose at the road rules. So Mr Government man  are you goinh to enforce the wearing of helmet rule?  From my personal obsevation,  not wearing a helmet in an accident will escalate greater damage than those who ride to live. Keep it big guys and gals

Where does all of this mind rendeing <deleted> come from, it's going to take a long time before the Thai gove see anything like past numbers of tourists.  Every time they flap their gums the tourists take 10 paces back.  Why dont they just shut their collective mouths for a while until they have something constructive to say.

Finally, they have bee calling us ferangs for a long time now but I for one brissle at being called an "alien" in their docs. How would they like being referred to as "Monkeys" in our press.

I cannot believe the visions this Govenment has, where do they get it all?  only now they start to see what we already new, amazing!  Such a shame to see a country with so much potential get flushed down the proverbial sh....er by people that have it so good themselves cannot generate a sensible idea. The couldn't organise a "P" up in a brewerie. 

So very sad to watch the video down Chaweng's main street,  I do hope that the 60+% who don't want foreign tourists back have a plan to fix this.?  Time and again people who block progress and loose are never to be found in matters like this one. You are the problem not the answer. 

Oh really? And of couse those 90% will be happy to establish a fund to support all the thousands of YOUR people that you would bankrupt or face hardship because they cannot find work.   I do not believe there are that many stupid people in Thaland unless we are talking about  Thai gov. 

With Thai peoples riding 1,2,3,4 UP no helmets, that is alive and well on Koh Samui. Young lunitics blasting down the main road on the wrong side of the road doing 80 to 100kph in a 50 zone NO HELMET! They are your people potentially puting themselves in harms way and you do not give a damn to enforce the road rules, what do you expect.
